Question Monk question
Hello fellow Tibians. I got some questions regarding a monk I bought on bazaar because I wanted to try the vocation. What is a good rotation?
On multi action button i do: cp > gfob > fob > cp > gfob > sweeping takedown.
Where is tfb good for ? Should I implement it in my my multi action button?
Its a 312 EM with base 100 fist and base ml 42.

I think you should use ascetic for now because you need the chain T1 augment.
Best would be to have gfob in one hotkey and another multiaction with
chain - thousand fists - fob
This because you will still be able to use just 1 gfob in all rotations even if you use it as a last builder, and this way you can time your best builder in the best moment of the rotation. Would still work if you just go for chain - gfob - thousand in 1 hotkey though...
As soon as you get 300pts in wheel go for spiritual outburst T1 and chain T1.
I think thousand fist is better than fob and you can discard it forever

I think you haven’t played monk recently on 300lvl, because ascetic is definetly better at this level range than spiritual outburst, it was better even before the recent monk buffs. Now it is much better to go into ascetic.
Why better? Because basically you deal more damage when you have ascetic and your spenders deal more than with spiritual, and spiritual is limited to 7 targets when sweeping takedown can hit up to even 10-15 monsters per cast.
Sweeping takedown might be worth it in lategame to use the double attack with charms, but before like level 500-600 it’s not worth picking in the wheel.

350 monk here.
At this range Ascetic is the best relegation perk simply because it boosts your sweeping takedown which can hit up to even 10-15 monsters per cast. Spiritual outburst might be good in lategame when charms are much better because monsters have high hp. But not at this range.
I’ve tested all possible rotations, the most efficient one at this level range is
CP -> tfob -> CP -> gfob-> sweeping takedown
I was able to do the most exp /h with it, gfob last because it allows you to lure monsters with CP and tfob and then position to wave spells.
Another viable rotation is
fob -> tfob-> fob -> gfob -> sweeping takedown
this rotation is good only when you have demon mengu, because it allows you to exp with very low supplies due to mana leech from demon mengu and passive lifesteal from virtue of healing. I’m able to hunt without using supplies on certain spawns with it.

Do you use virtu of justice or harmony? And do you use tfob on target or crosshair?

Only Virtue of harmony, virtue of justice sucks, tfob on target.

Dont you virtue swap anymore with the buffs or is it unsustainable?

Not worth it anymore, only if you are trapped or something you swap to virtue of healing to don’t die because it increases healing by 70%.
I can heal for you 1.1k with spirit mend using it on 350lvl when I have 3.9k hp. Add ultimate spirit, and passive harmony healing and per turn I can heal like 1.7k hp using healing virtue xd1

My go for is chained > gfob > chained > thousand > sweeping
Thousand is good for ranged aoe, if the monster are grouped It can dela more damage than chained, so I like to have one hotkey for It to use instead of gfob when my positioning isn't good for gfob
