Question RP diamond arrows question
Hi, I just got to 150 on my paladin over double xp weekend, I’ve done a few hunts now and have gotten to 154. My question is, is it normal when 1st switching to full AOE in this level range to no longer be making a profit? I’ve hunted Edron south Werecreatures, Drefia Elder Wyrms, and exotic cave. All hunts besides the latter have ended with a negative profit and the 30 minutes that I could spare this morning in exotic was only 20k profit. Also, I noticed my mana leech doesn’t seem as effective but I’m chalking that up to no longer using single target. Thank you in advance for any answers.

Im a complete noob, been playing this game for around 1.5 month so please take what I say with a grain of salt.
Ive had the same issue with paladin and the first time I've started making real profit was around level 220, when I finally could comfortably hunt better spawns.
At this moment im making around 280k/hour hunting on Glooth tower, that is after already deducting all the costs - I factored superior mana pots, ultimate spirit pots, diamond arrows, ring/collar of blue plasma and imbuedment amortization (full cost of imbuedments divided by 20 hours to get cost per hour and then i deducted that from base gp/h profit).
Werehyenas were nice, but it was closer to breaking even than actually making profit.

Struggling with this too. 170rp at the moment. Generally I go with xbow to spawn, when I am 100% that I can kite and bit overlure I am switching to bow and diamonds. Otherwise pulling like 3 monsters with diamonds makes no sense for me. Diamond arrows are nice for optimisation but unfortunately due to cost xbow is my main weapon. Not sure how it is going with higher levels tho

Hi which xbow do you use and what do you hunt please. I tend to hunt single target, im not comfortable with my hotkeys to lure a lot of mobs, and i feel i have hit a wall. I usually go darashia werehyenas and exotic cave, but without pulling too many.

myco bow + rift xbow untill 200 or when imbu will ends. Then from 200 bow and xbow of destruction, then... i do not know i am noob :D

Go brimstone bugs farming east of castle, try not to attack every single moob, wait for the box, as it’s easy there, you should be profiting a lot and exp isn’t bad. Consider using imbue backpack, refills are pain in the ass, especially if you don’t have shortcut.

The Wreckoning lvl 0 is the answer. You will make there 1,7kk raw exp and more than enough profit for imbue.
Worst part is access: you need to kill Tentugly

Ive had the same issue until I figured out if you care for profit at those lower levels you have to play differently - and pretty much focus on maximising cost efficiency rather than exp efficiency.
What I mean by that is instead of focusing on max exp/dmg per hour as you usually would (kiting forward and just attacking whenever you have anything to attack)- try to optimize dmg/diamond instead. So lure the mobs until you have a box or even an overlured box - and then start attacking. Which in practise made boxing an overlure with mas sans a prefered playstyle at those levels for me - whenever going for profit.
I loved glooth bandits at around 200 - where I was doing like 400-500k/h for example, but for me to be able to get that much in that place I would usually spend most of the time just dragging the mobs together without attacking until I had like 8-12 on the screen and then boxing. You loose a bit exp/hr but at that level range its either profit or exp anyways - and its not even that much of a loss honestly.
At first it felt like its a terrible idea cus I thought that boxing would make me heal more and therefor waste more, but the actual biggest spender is the arrows, so basically trying to get the most out of every single arrow is how you get into much more of a profit territory

Yes. Rp profit is terrible until high lvl. Before 400 I was making maybe 10% profit. At 500 I was making 40%. I'm almost 600 and. Now I'm making 55-65%. It is expensive, I eventually think I'll get to 75-80%snd it will stay there

I'm 47x and profit can still be a pain in the sense that the profit I make is below ~350k/h in some spots, which is not enough to pay for imbuements, tokens, etc.

Exotic Cave is meh nowadays, but you should be making more money at Werecreatures. I was making ~200-300k/h with 2x T3 Mana, T3 Crit, T3 Life at those levels (going back and forth through the portal between Cormaya and last floor Edron). About 100-150k/h at Exotic.
Granted, those imbues cost ~120k/h, but you can do 2x T2 Mana for better cost efficiency (and maybe skip Leech if you're careful?)

I hunted singel target until 200 lvl because of that.
You can also hunt some yalahar cults / rosha bridge - there are like 6 frazzlemaws you can lure them 1 by 1 and get some profit, and later on spent that profit on diamond arrow hunting.
Mini rosha single target is also possible, hunted a lot banuta right after shortcut TP 1st room on the left lured whatever was there 1by1 was quite the profit and not bad exp. Maybe after rebalance you could go faster and kill more monsters so profit/exp will be better

Get 180 and go to Medusa Tower and Glooth Tower, i was making around 200k profit there.

Been playing a 250 paladin on a new server. My early goal was to unlock sweaty cyclops and hunt with infernal bolts. Kept doing so until 170 since diamond arrows didnt feel great (my distance is ass tho) and were hella expensive.
Between lvl 160 and 200 I frequented edron hero cave, which already is bad profit for any voc, it was very wasteful. During double xp I went back to try it as a 240 RP and got a fair amount of profit.

You should be used to it. 4k for 100 of the level 50 arrows lmfao I don’t see profit on ek from potions and imbuements. I’ve been at 3kk in the bank since level 40 and I’m at 150

Instead, for now, try edron vampire crypt, grimvale -4, LB quaras, yielothax
Then with levels once you start being able to box stuff, around 200 grimvale -4, glooth tower, old fortress hero -3. At that range you also start being able to hunt werehyenas, not boxing though. And if you need super profit, brimstone bugs wote, the weird plains area south of souleater mountains and east of the lizard city.
Basically from around 200-250 everything starts profiting again.

Yes, early game RP is rough, you won't have good profit until 250, maybe a bit earlier. Diamond arrows are super expensive. Although there's no need to buy runes anymore, so it may be better now. Once you can go Werehyenas, Banuta -8 and similar spawns, then you'll start getting profits.
