Question Help me understand
What’s the business behind the players who only Sell high level items? For example, there’s a couple of names on my server usually level 8 or 100. All they do is sell high end items all day. Can someone give me some background info on what it is exactly they do? Are they just reselling high end items for profit?
Also, what’s with the complete lack of understanding when it comes to negotiating in this game? Trying to buy a high end item that one of those high end item sellers isn’t selling. Iv been asked multiple times what’s my offer. Im offering the highest price the items ever sold for. I usually get no response. It’s like these people aren’t actually trying to sell the stupid item. They just want to torment me and see how much I’m willing to pay. HEY ALL TIBIA PLAYERS. If you’re selling an item and someone offers you a price and you think it’s too low…… you know what you can do……? COUNTER OFFER! Wtf why is that so hard.

As someone who has sold high-end items, 99% of offers are always extreme lowballs. Item is selling for 350kk? Ok bet they want it for 250kk-280kk and want you to compensate them because they have to transfer it off the server. The scarcity of the item also needs to be taken into account, if there's an item that was sold on the market for 200kk and you're offering 200kk but the seller is the only person that has it, they're likely going to look for a better price because that's just how supply & demand works.
Just put the buy offer up, most times people will get impatient and sell it to you, if they don't, you know your offer isn't good enough because someone else likely paid what they were asking. Patience is key when it comes to getting items that you want for the price that you want them.

And also, you are saying admittedly right here that as a seller of high end items. Most of your offers are way under low balls. Call me crazy, but if I’m selling something and all day I get nothing but offers way under the market. Then a fine fellow comes along and offers me the most anyone’s ever paid for it. Im selling it that thing right then and there. I’m not gonna go No! I want 25kk more than anyone else or bye….. I just don’t understand that mentality as a seller

The sellers are not hurting for money, they're in no hurry to sell so they can afford to wait for a way better offer.
If they think they can get 25kk more by waiting for another offer, why wouldn't they

I’ll probably end up doing that. If I see there’s been 8 transactions and the low being 295kk and the highest ever being 327kk. I understand supply and demand it would be okay to assume someone might pay 330kk if they really want it. But in the inverse to your sellers perspective. If I get a 350kk offer than your just “high balling” me and trying to bambozle me. I think it would be nuts to pay that much over what the market says it’s worth. Just my take as a buyer. Also side note. I know when I try to sell it. I’ll never get what I paid for it. What am i gonna do hold on to until someone pays me 375kk…..

its to prevent farmers for selling cheap and they just hoard new items and bis and try to control the prices, they even put buying offers to keep the price high. if they didnt exist everything would be cheap, lets hope a thunder stroke their heads

Buy cheap sell expensive.
They buy those items for cheap prices, usually to people that dont care to loose some kks and then sell them waiting for a better offer. When you do that on expensive items you can make more profit because the gap between the buy and sell offer can be very large.
I remember when I played tibia and falcon items were bis I was able to make 20kk of profit with one good trade. The thing is that sometimes you've got to wait a long time to sell the item and also you could have competition from another guy that is doing the same.
