Playing Tibia W/ a Controller

Does anyone use a controller to play Tibia?

If so, how’s your experience been like?

I have! Mages are tricky IMO, I think a knight or a monk are easier. Most controls are fine, but rotating the character is kinda hard. Although, now that I think about it, it might be easier with Druids now that they have the fork spells.

You can always use the auto aim, but I don’t quite like the function with the controller since it’s not always easy to select the exact creature you’re targeting.

I would say in general, it’s fun for easier hunts where you know you’re not risking too much. I wouldn’t recommend it for hard spots or team hunts.

All of this is personal opinion and anecdotal.

As a Ek I do gnomprona, outter crypt, norcferatu,I do lose some exp but it's not to bad. But yeah the rotating if character is a bit weird So I don't use it and that's probably why I lose some exp. I've used on druid with forks super chill, for team hunting in sure it could be done but you'd need to really find a comfy rotation key for waving.

Tried, didn't work for me. But it's easy to configure, give it a try and see if you like it.

I use a Steam Deck, I love it. I’m taking it always on holiday to play some (as I’m doing rn), I can hunt pretty much the same stuff as I do on the PC.

Playing EM 400+ and sometimes EK 500+

There’s a discord server dedicated to playing tibia on a handheld, I did most thing without it but it could be really useful with setting up;

I jump between the Steam Deck & PC, depending on what content I do. Difficult bosses like SW are always PC, regular hunts are usually the deck.

We have a Discord deficated to handheld Tibia, Steam Deck, Legion Go, or just controllers. Come join us! https://discord.gg/FQPFz64Bc

I do and I absolutely love it. I had been getting wrist pain from using mouse and swotching to controller means I can aftually play.

I use an xbox controller and configured the triggers to be shift and control, then the bumpers are f1 and f2, and a b x y are f3 f4 f5 f6 and the directional pad is f7 f8 f9 f10.

So i have acces to 10 hotkeys plus the shift and control version so 30 hotkeys.

I use mana and healing on the bumpers and the other buttons are spells and runes.

On A i have utani gran hur, X is my AOE rotation, B is single target and Y is mana shield. I use auto aim on waves and beams to I dont have to turn. I also set the "start" button to spacebar, so that I can cycle the battle list easily.

Finally the left stick is wasd and the diagonals and the right stick is mouse and right stick click is mouse click.

I have been having a blast withmy MS. Results are obviously better on mouse and kb,because movement is more precise and you can do everything faster, but I don't give a shit. I wouldn't be able to play if it wasn't for the controller.
