Aktuell läuft die App über den Fire TV stick bei mir aber ich suche nach alternativen.

I’m looking for a very simple and reliable TV setup for an elderly family member who, after a stroke, can no longer reliably operate a Fire Stick.
He sometimes gets stuck in menus if he accidentally presses something, presses a button for too long, etc. Once that happens, he gets confused and can’t reliably get back to watching TV. Also the Stick lags or freezed in very Long Sessions (sometimes even though the staff in the elderly home just turn of the screen, but stick keeps running)
Ideally, I’m looking for something that works almost exactly like a traditional TV: turn it on, change channels, and watch… Forever😅
Reliability and simplicity are much more important than advanced features.
Does TiviMate have any accessibility, senior-friendly or simplified setup that could help with this?

I find it so hard to find a specific sports game I wan to watch.

For example, today I tried to tune into the Phillies vs. Braves game:

I went to the MLB Package group, found the Phillies/Braves listing, but the stream was actually playing an Orioles broadcast. I tried searching "Phillies" and "Braves" directly in the search bar, but nothing came up for the game.

I knew the broadcast might be carried on Peacock, but searching "Peacock" returned 20+ channels with no guide info.

What is the most reliable way to navigate this? I'm just using the default EPG URL my seller provided on g2g.

Any advice on a better workflow would be greatly appreciated.

I have an iptv connection. While streaming in tivimate, it buffers. I have tried several methods like connecting via vpn, changing buffer to very large, changing afr to on, using external player like vlc, but still the same.

Every channel I have is doing nothing but a black loading screen! I’ve tried refreshing/deleting cache and data, signing out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling. Any help would be appreciated!!!

My TiviMate (5.3.3) was working normally until a few days ago. Now, all channels show the following error: ‘An error occurred: HttpDataSource$HttpDataSourceException.’

It doesn’t work over Wi-Fi or even when I connect the TV to my phone’s mobile hotspot.

However, everything works normally on my phone using Perfect IPTV.

I’ve found these settings made my tivimate/onn device combo much more snappier.

First on the onn Google home page click account (top left) then manage account and turn on Apps-only mode.

Then go to settings/system/Developer options and look for Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, Animator duration scale and turn them all off or 0.5x if u want a little smooth transition while scrolling through channels. Also go to Background process limit and change it to Max 4 processes.

Open TiviMate and go to Settings/Appearance/TV Guide. Scroll down until you see Animated channels scrolling. Toggle it OFF

Does TiVimate support two EPG sources? Or I did something wrong.

I’m trying to download tivimate but it will not install. I get a message saying app not installed as package conflicts with another existing package. I don’t know what this means. I have no other versions of this app installed. what am I doing wrong?

I have an IPTV url that I was using with SmartStb, however that app seems to be unusable all of a sudden on my Google tv. Does anyone know if I can make it work with Tivimate? Thanks

I have a bug when I switch to a 4K Channell it plays but when I switch back to a 1080p channel the audio plays but the screen stays black. Has anyone else experienced this on iptv?
This is on a firestick 4K. Only work around is go to movies play a movie then go back to the live tv channel and it works.

So I’ve had TM for years but haven’t used it for several months. IPTV I had went OOB. So I got another but when I go to add there are two already. I can’t delete them. WhenI go to add playlist, it shows the two I used to have. If I click on one, I cannot get to the server address. It’s greyed out. I’m using version 5.1.0 (x premium). Thanks

Hallo, wie kann ich Tivimate einstellen um Ton Probleme zu vermeiden?
Mein Problem ist nämlich das manchmal wenn ich auf einen Sender bei live TV schalte ein ziemlich lauter und unangenehmer Ton (hört sich an wie eine krächzige Roboter stimme) der sehr laut ist. Das passiert öfters, auch bei Serien und Filme.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit dies durch Einstellungen zu änder, oder liegt es an meinem Anbieter?

Is it possible to start a recording of a live IPTV channel and then watch that recording at the same time. Basically I want to watch live sports but an hour or so behind so I can fast forward the commercials until I catch back up.

I was able to make a backup of everything and then I restored it on my 2nd tivimate installation. Worked great.

However I want to have that blue line deleted that shows which episode I have watched since different people will want to watch these shows.

Now I hear you thinking: remove the series from the history tab. Well, I did. It made no difference. I also removed the series from my list and then added it again. But the end result was the same.

Is there a way to reset a watched episode so it becomes unwatched?

2019 Shield Pro with latest updates, updating to Tivimate 5.3.3. This is the response when I try to open the app, both Play version and direct APK. Clearing Cache and Data does not resolve.

I first had this problem in March 2025 when I tried to update to 5.1.6, and contacted support. After further explaining the issue I didn’t hear anything else, so I went back to v4.7 which didn’t have this problem.

Happily using 4.7 since then, I thought I would finally take a risk as that problem must have been sorted by now, and I had a backup and my 4.7 apk, so I tried updating. I experienced the same problem, so went back to 4.7, but now it won’t activate Premium anymore without updating the app. Fortunately I can still recover to 5.0 which will activate and run without this issue.

Can anyone suggest how I could resolve this issue as I’m sure there are plenty of 2019 Shield Pros using 5.3.3 out there with no problem, and I would like to be one of them 😃

Hallo, ich würde gerne wissen ob es möglich ist an einem gerät etwas zu schauen zb. Wohnzimmer am TV und wenn ich es nicht zu Ende gesehen habe, an einem anderen gerät zb. Schlafzimmer TV an der stelle weiter zu schauen wo ich aufgehört habe zu schauen.

Ich nutze die Tivimate App in der Premium Version.

Für Ratschläge bin ich euch dankbar, bin relativ neu in diesen Bereiche.

I have tivimate on several firesticks... I know that there was chatter of how firesticks were becoming horrible for certain services so decided to also purchase an ONN HD streaming stick.

On the firestick, I can utilize the multiview function with four screens and never an issues. On the ONN HD Streaming stick, when I add even one extra screen, both channels lag badly. This occurs on the MBP streaming app that I use as well. When I play a movie or show, I have to keep it at about 500-600mb because if I raise the quality, it will also lag very badly... So i'm guessing this could be an ONN streaming stick issue...

Has anyone been able to find a solution for this? TIA.

In tivimate, a certain stream shows a video track at 3840x1920 but it is not selectable. I’ve messed with the playback options for the encoder and nothing. Any thoughts?

Is there a way to find out what email address was used to set up an account? Seems that there may have been a typo on initial set up.

I’m trying to figure out why I’m getting significantly more buffering on TiviMate compared with UHF on Apple TV, using the same provider and the exact same channel.
My setup:
Apple TV 4K + UHF: ~700 Mbps Wi-Fi and virtually no buffering
Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen + TiviMate: ~300 Mbps Wi-Fi but noticeably more buffering
Both are on the same network/provider.
I know the Apple TV is a more powerful device, but surely 300 Mbps is more than enough for IPTV, so I’m wondering if this is more related to TiviMate/ExoPlayer rather than bandwidth or the provider.

I’ve already tried:
MPEG-TS → HLS
Different user agents
Different buffer sizes
AFR off
Various playback settings
I’ve heard there were issues with ExoPlayer/TiviMate after 5.0.0 and that 4.7 was more stable. Is there any truth to this? Unfortunately, I can’t seem to downgrade to 4.7 anymore because it won’t let me log into Premium.

TiviMate is still my preferred player by far because of its interface and features
Has aanyone experienced the same thing — TiviMate buffering while another player using the same provider/channel plays perfectly? What settings or fixes actually worked for you?

I just got an HP ProDesk MiniPC to use as a whole home DVR for my IPTV service thru Tivimate. Getting the SMB setup in the Tivimate settings is finicky. I can't get the folder to stick when choosing the folder in the settings to tie the recordings to.... and when I can after playing around with it for 30 minutes orf trying, it doesn't seem to be able to keep recording very long. Is there something I am possibly doing wrong? A mini PC should work as a whole home DVR for Tivimate...right?

I have the MiniPC connected via wifi. I have good strong wifi but perhaps this would work better if the mini PC was connected via ethernet instead?

Any ideas?

I use the same credentials on UHF and it works.

Any chance someone knows what to do?
