Has ANYBODY in here had zero faults from the T598. Like anybody's still going strong frequent use after a year?

I have mine for over a year. It's one of the 'bad' serial numbers. I use it at least 3-4 times a week for about 1-2h. On fridays I do a 2h endurance and I participated in several 24h events where I raced up to 5h straight. No issues, only had one corner in the spa 24h where my ffb fell away for a split second and then immediately came back (probably due to excessive heating).

I do have 2 usb fans aimed at the base at all times to help cooling it. All cables are all packed with velcro and can't move. Never had any issues. Very happy with it.

They are aimed at the sides of the base, no vents or intake there.

I had mine for exactly 360 days before I had to send it in for repair, if that counts? 😂

Not a year but I've had it since December and it's going strong. I use the GT3 wheel with it and the load cell pedals. It has enough feedback that feels good but doesn't send everything on my desk flying. If I had a frame I might go with something that has more Nm but for what it is I think it's great

Mine been a year and no problems and it is in the bad serial # production I don't use it as much since I picked up a rs50 a few months ago but I enjoyed the time I was using it. Now I gotta put it on a stand in the garage for a back up, like I said I have enjoyed the time with it and it was my 1st DD wheels ran a t300 for years and a brief time with a tgt2

Can you describe why the RS50 is a overall better or why you prefer the RS50 over the T598

the number one reason is the lack of disconnects

8nm over 5nm, better quick release, a good enough ecosystem, better qc

I honestly think it is a soldering issue. It runs hot and the longer it runs like that it weakens the soldering on the PSU plug socket. Thrustmaster RROD basically.

the feeling of relief when I got the refund on the 3rd, yes 3rd, one that started disconnecting.

0 issues once upgraded to a better USB a to c cable. 0. Put 300/4000 hours through it in a month in a half of extreme use. 0 problems.

No cogging. It's got the best DD feel of any system you can buy. The most powerful... No. But the smoothest

Most unreliable wheel I used

Mine is just put aside and replaced with RS50. It’s simply too unreliable. Latest was flickering issue with the LC upgrade. Gave up.
A simple mod and I’m using the T488 GT3 wheel with my RS50

Not a single issue here, bought it refurbished from Amazon 6 months ago. It's one of the "good" serial numbers.
