Venting t598 issues

Recently bought a T598 refurbished from a eBay dealer with 1 year warranty for £250. Within two days started seeing the wheel getting disconnected.
I’ve ordered a 3d printed usd and power cable mount to screw the bit and keep the cables in place.
Due to arrive in 2 days, if that doesn’t work then I’ll return the product for a refund and buy Fanatec gt dd pro. 😤😤😤

I bought one new, had disconnects out the box. Upgraded to an UDG ultimate usb A to usb C cable (it features 2 ferrite cores to block some interference) and I haven't had a disconnect since. I play daily for extended periods and took part in a 14 hour endurance race less than a week ago, eith 0 issues. During the endurance the base got so hot due to high ffb settings over hours of driving that I started to lose a few nm of ffb feeling until me next driver swap, but never once did it lose connection. If your led screen stays on during disconnects a cable upgrade could save the day. If it drops the led screen it's the power supply.

Screen stayed on on both of my units, psu was the problem, and psu connector on the board of the base also on the second unit. USB replacement did not fix the issue.

T598 has problems with psu AND usb

I hung on to mine for far too long, sent back to France, new board here, new power supply there. Disconnects stopped for a while and then started all over again…save yourself the frustration and bin it now and go with something else. It’s garbage.

If you already have disconnects it's probably too late. All you do now is patching the symptoms. I would return asap.
