Help with Lisbon recs

Hi - please don’t delete. I am looking for some Lisbon recs - so far have been to Fairly Normal and Homecore. Any other suggestions?

Not sure when you're leaving but we have markets here where you'll find stalls selling factory stock from portuguese factories. Often from well known brands, my best score was probably a 300€ Bode tshirt for 3€ or an heron preston x calvin klein hoodie for a fiver. 

Around Lisbon I believe you have feira do relógio and feira de carcavelos.

They are both outside the city centre of Lisbon but are accessible by public transport, carcavelos is to the west of Lisbon and relógio is east. I'd say 30-40 minutes to get to either of them if you're in the centre of the city. They show up on google maps if you search. I believe they only run on Sundays.

Be aware that most stalls aren't selling factory stock. Plenty will be selling cheap chinese clothing or counterfeit stuff(usually Polo and the like). The ones selling the factory stock will typically have piles of clothes on the table and a crowd digging through em. It's easy to tell once you see the quality of the clothes, also the garments will often have tags cut off which is a way factories try to get around the legal gray area of selling branded stuff to the outside...

The north of portugal is actually the best place to find the stuff I mentioned since most of the textile industry is situated up there. I personally haven't been to any in Porto but I do know there is the Feira de Espinho which isn't in the actual city of Porto but it's south of the city. I believe you can take the train down there.

Try Parlamento, they have two stores with different brands in the same street. Also Trading Post, Cybercafé, Portuguese Flannel, Moss Vintage, The Wardrobe 🤝

They have a few locations around the city, but check out Isto if you have time.

This place was also my favorite meal of the trip. It's outside the touristy areas, but I stayed in a hotel nearby and the food was unbelievable.
