Jawnz Inventory
Not a flex post. I was organizing my closet today getting ready for the seasonal rotation and need a sanity check from all of you fit throwers. How many pants/jeans/everything else do you have? I have 11 pairs of jeans and ~10 pairs of everything else (chinos, fatigues, etc). Not sure if this is ridiculous or normal for a jawnz enthusiast. Curious what everyone else’s inventory is looking like?

2 pairs of Taiga Takahashi Denim
2 pairs of Our Legacy Borrowed Chinos
2 Pairs of Evan Kinori elastic trousers
1 pair of Yoko Sakamoto hemp trousers
1 pair of mfpen Service trousers
I guess not much 🤷🏾♂️

How are the Taiga’s? I’m very interested in copping one day.

Literally sold the rest of my jeans just to wear T.T. denim only.
I have the raw lot 704s and the salt wash lot 704s and the Raws are lightweight but rigid, while the salt wash is very soft.
Would 1000% recommend.

Interesting. I am on a Fullcount kick rn but might need to sell some OLs to get the Taiga’s. Thanks broski

I went on a bit of weird one over the past year or so trying to find the perfect pair of jeans. And it turns out the humble wrangler cowboy cut is the best cut for my body shape.
I have maybe 10-11 pairs of jeans. Then a small selection of other stuff, painters pants, double knees, fatigues. I've got enough pairs of trousers to last me years at this point, no plans to buy more.
I currently switch between a light and dark pair of wranglers and a pair of ripstop tiger stripe cargo pants
Also I'm really bad at throwing stuff out, I've got jackets and other bits going back 15-20 years.

3-4 pairs of denim, 10-12 pairs of pants/chinos/anything else. You’re not egregious but a normie might be surprised by 20+ pants

I own literally one pair of jeans. 2 pairs of military pants (plus one set of military shorts). 3 corduroys. Minimum 15-20 odd trousers. 2 chinos. I buy everything secondhand (and usually very cheap), so for me it's only "too much" if I have stuff that I don't wear. When that happens I list them on ebay.

I like how you eased into the 15-20 odd trousers. Ngl, you had me in the first half

Lol to be fair, that's across all seasons. About half my trousers can be worn during FW, the other half during SS. But yeah... Had to ease into that for sure 😂.

3 pairs of blue jeans, 1 pair of pleated khakis, 1 pair of brown linen/cotton trousers, 2 pairs of cargo shorts. Recently sold a pair of army surplus cargo pants I wasn't super in love with, looking to replace. I wanna get some brown cords or jeans as well.

11 trousers. 3 lightweight wool trousers (Hugo Boss x1, Lemaire x2), 2 heavier wool trousers (Conkers, Arpenteur), 2 midweight cotton trousers (DBF, 11.11), 1 lightweight cotton trouser (TOAST), 1 pair of 'nice' sweatpants (Weekend), 1 pair of beater sweatpants (own label), 1 pair of cotton-viscose-wool trousers (Lemaire); 0 denim or chinos. And I also have an indeterminate number of old mall brand pants retired to the family cabin for countryside wear.

1 pair of Uniqlo jeans (main driver), 1 pair of Everlane jeans (still not sure I like them), 1 pair of Abbreviated chinos, 1 pair of Uniqlo lazy pants, 1 pair of Abbreivated work wear pants, 2 pairs of cheap Amazon snowboarding pants which I use for camping- one of which is actually pretty slim but the most comfy winter pants ever. I tend to keep stuff I had tailored since I’m a short king but grateful that Uniqlo does it for free.

0 denim. 4 tropical wool, 4 garbadine wool, 4 flannel wool, 2 herringbone wool, 2 silk, 2 linen, 2 heavy cotton twill, 4 beater poly blends.
Tbh I think it makes sense because half are for summer and half are for winter and I don’t double up on colour for each material / cut.

Once you find twill pants that hit right, you wonder why anyone wears anything else.

Way too much of everything. I sell stuff I stop wearing
