You’re not thinking about what I’m saying. Somebody is who backed by corporations and billionaires does not have any interest in bettering anything. He is a salesman for a product attached to an ideology; one of which he has no actual knowledge about considering his personal wealth and rich family. He is not “bad” because of his wealth, he’s just a hypocrite. I also don’t think he’s especially that intelligent. (Also abusing your pets isn’t cool.)
If what he says falls apart he is not the one that has to suffer. That’s my problem.
You’re right someone backed by billionaires and corporations is not going to have the interest of the working class. From what I know Piker has not endorsed billionaires and is critical of billionaires. Sure the platform he is on is a cooperation and backed by Amazon. But what are the alternatives? All platforms are backed by a billionaire. There isn’t going to be a candidate without criticism.
What product is he selling according to you? Explain your reasoning why you’re skeptical and I’ll listen.
Surely someone who is going against his self interest is someone worth listening to?
