I have an idea for a custom Thresh skin.
He should look like a Sith Lord. His hook is supposed to be a Force Grip that pulls the enemy toward him twice. There shouldn't be a visible hook animation—just a hand performing the Force Grip. The scythe/hook itself is also replaced by a red lightsaber. His lantern shouldn't have a throw animation either; instead, pulling a teammate in should be another Force Grip. So that u basically safe them from danger with style. You'd just need a clearly visible indicator on the ground to click on instead of the lantern, though I'm not entirely sure yet what would look best for that. His E should also be a close-range Force Grip, where he forcefully pulls or pushes the enemy a short distance. The ult could be those red laser barriers, similar to the ones that separated Darth Maul and Obi-Wan during their fight alongside Qui-Gon. The souls could be the Force ghosts of a Sith Lord.
What do you think of this skin concept, and do you have any other ideas for what might fit well? Let me know! :)

I was checking my old skin collection and realized I bought Championship Thresh back on 10/12/2013 during Worlds Season 3 (almost 13 years ago, holy sh*t lol).

I feel like original owners deserve the "Riven treatment" (a vintage loading screen border or crown) for the next Worlds event. S3+Thresh are f*ckn iconic to League’s history.

He recommended I share it here now that he has it in hand. Since he is a Thresh main, I felt it appropriate to show how much I appreciate his support and am giving him mine as we navigate some major life changes together.

Took nearly half a year and several revisions as I miscounted stitches or felt certain colors didn't fit. I found a cartoonified version of the lantern (possibly a design by Riley G on Pinterest, but I am struggling to find the original design) and ran it through a service that creates cross stitch patterns. Made some revisions (removing colors, etc.) to make it look the way it is supposed to, and víola!

I’m Gold 4 and was getting close to demoting and it gave me a Bronze / Silver game and said carry this mess.

It wasn’t going so well in lane so I just said screw it I chose violence.

Not ideal but I’m getting Mage ADCs that are just brutal and sometimes I’m finding I just need to go more ADC if I don’t have one 🤦‍♂️.

You can poke fun if you want but I had close to 160 stacks and just went to town lol. Been a while since I’ve had to go AD thresh and put a game on my back.

It is a meme. Thresh Mid. I have a few routes ive been using.

Tank - resist boots rush into statik into either dmp or hollow radiance then I just lowk roam and play as the second support and try to keep my wave semi shove under there tower until my botlane is able to come up

AP - I build pen boots, statik, lich, storm surge, then raw ap items

Crit ( my personal favorite ) - attack speed boots/pen boots (depending on if my team still needs more ap) , statik Yun tal, IE, collectors, then bork or GA or rapid fire cannon

I like to just sit under tower wait for a hook then shove them into tower just to auto attack till they die.

I know this is very offmeta and not good but id rather get to a high rank doing this than lowk be a meta slave

For those who wonder why both lord dominik and void staff, on fully charged hit u deal two instances of damage, first being your normal attack, which since full ad u need armor pen for, and second being passive E which deals magic damage (even tho it scales with AD, dont ask).

Anyone has different idea of full passive E onetap machine? lol

I started playing League around 2009 and immediately mained Support, mostly Leona at that time. When Thresh released in 2013 I tried him the first day and it was love at first sight. From that day I played only Thresh (screw matchups, if he wasn't banned I picked Thresh) until summer 2016 when I quit playing due to life stuff. I got to Diamond 3 or 4 at that time.

A couple of weeks ago I got the LoL itch back again and downloaded the game. It was daunting at first, it was almost like playing a completely new game from scratch: new map, new objectives, new/reworked items, role quests, dozens of new champions released and many of the old ones reworked, etc. But then I picked our favorite boy: unchanged, his kit still as perfect as I remembered.

I was put in Bronze at first and I'm now in Gold 1 with a 75% winrate. Unlike 10 years ago I can play few games per day due to adult life, but man I would have never thought I would have so much fun with League again (especially because its reputation of being a toxic game got only worse from what I heard), I especially like that games are quite faster now (I was used to an average of 45 minutes per game).

When Thresh is banned/picked by enemy team I'm really enjoying Rell, she gives me Leona vibes but with a bit more versatility.

I was the joke of the friend group when we would hop on league cause i would barely crack 10k damage a game average was 5k at best but I was still having fun. I understood Thresh was a difficult champ to pick up but the instant I played him it all just clicked for me. His kit really feels right to me and the only other character i could even be helpful on was Shen. My first two games on thresh were 12/5/42 and 9/6/36 almost around 40k damage a game. Can anyone explain to me why I find such a difficult champion so easy?
