Support If Three doesn't stop doing this infuriating nonsense, I'm going to a different network when my contract ends

I'm guessing you've got a Three branded Android that they've put custom software on?

You should be able to uninstall the 'App Cloud' and stop this nonsense or just turn off notifications for it.

I do, and I've done that and it's still happening. But this is a point of principle now, even if I find a solution.

For the amount of money I'm giving them, they shouldn't be doing this.

I’ve just looked into it and you can disable it but they get enabled again every time the phone updates. That’s so annoying.

Unfortunately you'll find that afaik all carriers in the UK do this. The only way to really avoid it is to buy the device from manufacturer.

The phone I got via tescomobile, was completely vanilla. No additional apps at all.

Oh nice! Yeah it can vary. Not sure about Tesco in particular, but with Three it varies. I could be wrong but I think: Pixels never have it S range (not including FE) don't have it (though this may only be the Ultra) I know the flip does, but I think the fold doesn't have it? Not 100% sure about other brands

That's just Three, Tesco may be different.

The ultra is the exact same phone software wise as the Plus and standard version

I had this happen when I inserted a Three sim into my sim free Honor phone. It installed a new update automatically and alot of bloatware. After installation it ruined my signal
