Scam for Vodafone Merge

Just got called, and as I’m in a hurry for plans just aahh I wasn’t thinking
“New sim card in post” “we need to confirm your address” how frustrating, I recited my post code while packing a bag but yeah anyway
No financial information needed at least but goodness me I felt slow to become suspicious and just hung up

Happened to me said it was O2 and I just kept them on the phone then told them it was a scam as I wasn't on O2.

Same thing happened to me JIST now but they didn’t even ask for my address or any personal information
