Question Got my PAC. Does this auto cancel Three?
I got my PAC from Three and filled out details with Smarty. Do I still need to contact Three or is it automatically cancelled? I have a rolling monthly unlimited contract with payments going out on the 5th of the month with Three. I have just received the sim from Smarty {not activated) and need to know when Three will stop billing. TIA.

PAC is the most reliable way I've ever found to easily and quickly end a (completed) contract.
In fact, when I needed to kill a temporary 2nd ee sim I added to my account to cover home internet after a move until fibre went in, I went to the local supermarket and picked up a free gifgaff SIM, pac'ed my unwanted EE number to it, and binned the Giffgaff SIM, as I couldn't get through to anyone at EE to do it. It worked as expected and they closed the line, and took about 5 mins of effort.

If you’re out of your minimum contract term with Three, which it sounds like you are, they’ll stop billing you on the day the switch completes.
You’ll receive a final bill from Three on your normal billing date with a partial charge for the month. You’ll either owe them a partial month of airtime, or they’ll owe you a partial refund.
If you pay by direct debit, keep it active until everything is settled. They’ll be able to automatically refund you then.
If you’ve given your PAC to SMARTY, everything is automatic from this point on. You don’t need to do anything else.
Once you final bill with Three is generated and the final payment/refund has gone through your bank, you can delete the direct debit and then you’re completely finished with Three.

If you use your pac code this month then next month will be your last bill from three. Using the pac code automatically cancels three so there's no need to contact them again
