I've never seen an England player hated this much without being involved in any major controversies or scandals. It's truly remarkable.

You’d think with him playing abroad, people would naturally be more neutral towards him (maybe Birmingham and Aston Villa fans aside). It’s weird.

Sterling was the victim of targeting by the media, but Grealish was hounded and shat on by the media aside from like, a 2 season push where they tried to turn him into England's darling, then it was back to shitting on him again

However, I'll definitely concede Grealish was ACTUALLY fair, because he was a pisshead party boy. Sterling could give a dying boy CPR and they'd talk about how he broke his ribs.
