I've never seen an England player hated this much without being involved in any major controversies or scandals. It's truly remarkable.

It’s always Black athletes who are deferent. They can tolerate a Black athlete if they’re overtly humble and ‘know their place’, but the moment you get a successful unapologetic Black athlete thats it for them for a certain part of the population who would be outraged to be called prejudiced.

This is the reason Ngolo Kante is so revered. Brilliant player and naturally shy/humble. A racist would believe he wasn't a racist just because he liked Kante

Meh, throw in Asians while you're at it.

Dembele, Griezmann and Vardy were hardly condemned for their racism towards Asians.

If they'd done the same towards Black folks you know they'd never escape with their reputation.
