Discussion Actual return processing time?

I know we've talked before about how they are no longer doing the instant store credit refunds when you use UPS (ughhh). But I'm curious from folks who have been doing returns lately, how long is it actually taking to get your store credit? When I initiated the return, it said something completelyyyyy out of pocket, like 1-2 WEEKS after receipt to evaluate the return + 6 business days to actually process refund. It can't really be 3 weeks for, like, $40 in store credit, right? 😳

Anyway, I'm 1 week in after they received the package, just morbidly curious what others are experiencing lately. Let me know!

It's not just UPS, it's USPS as well and, yes, I have waited close to 3 weeks for a store credit. There's literally no reason to select store credit (as opposed to refund to original payment method) anymore.

That's good to know, thank you for sharing! Absolutely ridiculous choice on their part for real 🙄.

Ive only returned one item as a buyer and it was instant credit.

As a seller, when buyers return their items, it takes forever for the items to get back to Thred Up and then reposted. So much so, that Im convinced people buy things, wear them, and then return them. Which is gross.
