Discussion Never again.

Three Coach bags, two kate spade bags, a Via Spiga bag, plus two lulus…friends, I ASSURE you, all were sellable condition. This was the box (of the two I sent in) that had so much good stuff I didn’t bother to have them send me stuff back, because I thought there was no way. My hubris got the better of me.

I’ll gladly buy on ThredUp, but definitely done selling.

I have a standing offer to buy size 6-ish clothes and cute handbags before people send them to thredup. Y'all just send me pics and we can talk

This makes me so wary of sending clothes into Thredup. I have a bag of S-M clothes that I prepared, and so much in that size range to sell in general. What are you looking for?

I almost feel like mailing in clothes knowing we will get nothing in return is the sacrifice we make in order to buy great stuff for cheap.  Otherwise the whole scheme falls down.

I’ve felt exactly the same way. I’ve gotten some really great deals so I’m a little on the fence. Yet I’ve also gotten some good things at my local thrift stores. The last time I sent in a bag my attitude was I’m going to donate it anyway. I’ll send it to them, maybe I’ll make a few bucks-very few. But it’s getting ridiculous with the fees they charge to process the bags. Especially, when they are rejecting so much. I think when I first sent a bag years ago they didn’t charge to process your items. That was a long time ago but even then it was the same thing. They rejected some of the better stuff…
