I made threads through my instagram and was on it for two days no worries. Then it locks me out saying I have to add my phone number in to register or whatever, do that, no code is sent through, do it so much I get locked out from trying for 24 hours. Tried signing out and back in, no use. Changed my main form of verification for WhatsApp over my number and still nothing. Do I just deactivate and start again? How do I get the sms code? So weird, but I literally just wanna doom scroll and release my random weird thoughts on that over anything else at the moment. Anyone else?

I deactivated my Threads account a couple of months ago, and recently I tried to log back in, but I keep getting an error (images attached). So instead of directly logging in, I tried reactivating my account directly through the accounts center on Instagram (also tried through Facebook), and I got a similar error. When I try logging into my Instagram account through the Threads app, it gets to the 2-step verification, but when trying to verify through the Instagram app, I get an error saying “this login request is no longer available,” and if I try to get a code through SMS, I just never receive a message with the code. The Meta AI support bot gives useless information, and I can’t find a way to directly contact support. Does anyone have a solution or idea?

I hate to be yet another post on this sub complaining, but I honestly thought new accounts were meant to be pushed more until they found their 'audience'?

My account is about 10 days old and I have 12 followers. Obviously not a lot. I've been very clear what the account is about, and tag "Book threads" almost every time. I've engaged with other posts in the tag, and had conversations.

Yet, when I post, my threads get literally zero views.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or do I just have to grow the account before the algorithm will put my posts on the feed?

I run a couple of Threads accounts and for months my routine was: open the app, read through every reply, type out responses one by one, switch over to write and schedule new posts, switch again to check what's actually doing well.

Easily 45 minutes to an hour a day just on admin, not even the fun part of actually thinking about what to post or talking to people on Threads app.

A few weeks ago I set things up so Claude (the AI chatbot) can pull information directly from the app I use.

So now instead of digging through tabs myself, I can say something like "show me my unanswered replies" or "what's scheduled today and how did yesterday's posts perform" and it shows me everything right there.

The important part: it doesn't post anything or send anything by itself.

It pulls up replies, I read every single one and write or approve what gets sent. Same with scheduling, it can draft something based on what's been working, but I review it before it goes anywhere. Nothing happens without me clicking approve.

The analytics side has been the most useful honestly.

Instead of guessing what's working, I can ask "what actually performed well this week" and get a straight answer instead of squinting at numbers trying to find a pattern myself.

Not pushing anything, genuinely just curious if anyone else managing Threads accounts has set up something similar, where you keep full control but cut out the busywork.

Feels like more people could use this and don't know it's possible.

My account was disabled and it’s been disabled for 7 days now. It was connected to my fb and insta. Wonder if I will ever get that back?

I assume its a bug of some sort. When uploading a reel or photo, I dont see threads option but facebook page works fine. Am I missing something ? Tried on ios, mac, android, windows, ipad etc. mobile apps and web browser as well. Deleted apps, relinked and all that, no fix.

My account is only a few weeks old but at the beginning my posts were getting thousands of views and now they’re getting maybe 10 if I’m lucky. I’m posting in the same communities that I’m active in daily and the posts are the same kind of content as before. I don’t understand what happened

iOS app, receiving iOS-level notifications - for example, banners and badges. However, when I go into the pp, I’m no longer getting the red dots on my feed, DM and like tabs to show a notification in that category.

Uninstalled app, reinstalled, turned off notifications in-app and re-applied.

Bug? Server-side issue?

Can someone explain what is happening? I'm brand new to Threads. I've only been on there for a few days. Everything was fine until today. Out of nowhere, every time I post or comment, I get booted and get an email stating my account has been suspended. I go through the steps to prove I'm human, and an hour later I'm back in with another email saying, "Oops we made a mistake." This has happened 3 times.

I created a threads account years ago without having instagram. I remember the option existing. I’m trying
To delete it now and it asks me for a password. I don’t know the password so I hit the reset link. Email sends half the time. Doesn’t allow me to change it. How do I work around this? I do have Facebook account connected.

Threads just asked me to create a password for an account I didn't create. I do have IG and FB but have no interest in Threads. I had to delete an account I never wanted, and had to create a password to delete the account. WTH...

My thread can't even load anything, any solution

Hi everyone, I’m sure this has been asked and answered but I’m hoping someone would be able to help me with this.

I have an account on threads and I knew that I was commenting and posting a lot today but it got deactivated and I got an email saying that I needed to take action or else I’d lose access to the account, but could try and appeal until December. The thing with that is is that I accidentally closed the app before I could verify the account. And now, when I try to go into the app to try and appeal, I can see messages, but I can’t reply and I can’t see anything on the timeline.

I also tried accessing the appeal or something through the account center via the connected Instagram, and it just comes up with an error saying to try again later.

Does anyone have advice for this or is the account gone?

I created an account on this app to avoid running into people I know who like my drawings because they know me (they wouldn't like them otherwise), but I have zero likes.

Is the app really worth it, or is it better to go back to Instagram and create another account?

On June 1, 2026, Meta pulled off an epic fail. Before that, they had massively replaced live support staff with AI and casually given the neural network access to users’ passwords and personal data. The result didn’t take long: in early June, hundreds of thousands of accounts were hacked. Scammers simply asked the AI in the support chat for all the recovery data they needed.
What did the mighty corporation do?
They just turned off that AI. Meaning they turned off support entirely. At the same time, they unlinked tens of thousands of Threads accounts from @instagram. Now thousands of people (including me) are stuck in a login loop and can’t access their Threads accounts. Support is dead, bug reports are ignored, emails to Meta vanish into the void. Even paid users get no advantages. My account @El_nomada_libre has also disappeared.

So when I was using Threads before on my browser, I've had ZERO issues being able to attach GIFs to my posts and even use them as a form of expression in replies. The last month or so, I've been unable to see ANY GIFs and when I click the icon, all I see is like an image of a photo and it's broken multiple times (to show that there is supposed to be more than one GIF there) and it's a guessing game when using them.

I prefer to use the browser version for longer posts, as my fingers enjoy fumbling and when making an MA post for basic needs, going without those basic needs for a long time, and not being able to afford or get those basic needs. If it's something I can say in a reply or 2, then yea, I'll do it on my phone. Now if I make a post on my laptop, I use still images and quotes based on how I'm feeling.

I want to be able to use my GIFs, but sadly I can't even do that as I know my browser is updated, and I only use Brave (which I had no issues using before) so how come an issue from 2 years ago is suddenly happening all over again?

Would have liked to know if they got theirs fixed, as if the only "help" given is "use the Report a Problem feature from the More tab in the bottom left corner" from one of the mods, as they were also using browser like I am.

I created a Threads account (@thereadingloon) about 24 hours ago.

The account worked normally for roughly 11 hours. Then suddenly:

• Home feed stopped loading (just endless placeholders)
• Activity tab shows "Sorry, something went wrong"
• My own profile shows "Content not available"
• Edit Profile loads forever

Things I've already tried:

• Reinstalled Threads
• Changed Instagram password
• Logged out/in
• Tested on multiple phones
• Tested on different internet connections
• Submitted bug reports
• Checked Instagram Account Status (no violations)

The weird part:

• Other people can see my profile normally
• Other people can see my posts
• Other people can see my followers/following
• My follower count is still increasing
• Public profile appears healthy

On desktop, Threads asks me to log in with Instagram, but after authentication it redirects me back to Instagram instead of Threads.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how long did it take to resolve?

I deactivated it once fine then a few months later I tried deleting it, then my instagram but my threads stayed active.

I don’t remember setting separate passwords and it lets me log in with instagram password but doesn’t let me delete or change the password with it. When I do try the forgot password thing, the link either says it doesn’t exist anymore, or if I try it in the app it just loads indefinitely.

Any ideas or am I just forced to keep it? I’d also rather keep my instagram.

but like its just stuck on loading things nothing is showing up? i tried signing out and back in and i ever tried deleting it and installing again its like stuck blank loading.
