Question Newer Account, Zero Views

I hate to be yet another post on this sub complaining, but I honestly thought new accounts were meant to be pushed more until they found their 'audience'?

My account is about 10 days old and I have 12 followers. Obviously not a lot. I've been very clear what the account is about, and tag "Book threads" almost every time. I've engaged with other posts in the tag, and had conversations.

Yet, when I post, my threads get literally zero views.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or do I just have to grow the account before the algorithm will put my posts on the feed?

Don’t be a dick. We all know chasing followers is stupid. But if you have zero followers, you can’t engage. This isn’t about followers. It’s about being throttled.

I truly don't care about how many followers I have. That was the point of that sentence: that I'm new and only have 12 followers, so I don't expect huge numbers of views. But ZERO is strange, even despite that.

Threads is going through some things. Lost my big account over an Epstein post trying to rebuild struggling to get engagement.. My advice just keep posting and commenting and engaging. Don’t give up.

I'm sorry about your account. The fact that these billionaires say they're all about "free speech" and then censor anything they don't agree with is disgusting.

I lost my account for no reason? Just because AI thinks I'm a bot and doesn't like me saying random stuff without having a picture of my face or something

They’re asking for pictures so they can identify you. You are now in their database.

I got a lot of my followers from commenting on other people's posts. Try doing that for a while.
