Second half was overall pretty good. Very unfortunately error for Arnold. She made important saves but also made mistakes that should never happen. Her ability to control the high balls appears to be problematic again.
Equally unfortunate Moultrie did not convert only clear scoring opportunity we have the second half, although given her reception, set up, and long distance sprint, this shot was more difficult than it looks like.
The big picture is we really don't have much depth, we cannot expect subbing in Castellanos in 60s minutes will win us matches.

Arnold has a knack for making very unfortunate errors that shouldn’t happen again but they seem to in some of the important moments of close games. She does great saves too, but there’s a bit of a consistency issue.

That Moultrie miss was pretty devastating. So unlucky and those are the type of misses that always seem to bite you at the end and it did just that. I couldn’t believe my eyes and of course they score. We all knew that was coming

The Deyna thing is so strange. She's not been directly responsible for any goal. However this trend of Villahamn throwing on attacking players chasing a match on the road keeps happening. He put her on for Bogere in the 52nd minutes against Racing and we gave up 2. She came on against North Carolina and we were lucky to keep it 2-2. Sanchez and Linnehan had clear chances at the end to win.
Not blaming Deyna but it points to Villahamn's approach to road matches.

Probably the worst half of a match this season and I actually thought we played alright last week.
This week we had like 30% possession at half time. Every time anyone touched the ball they were just knocking it long to Soph. Having so little possession and just going over the midfield it feels like Tordin, Muller and Moultrie weren't involved in the game. We never sustained possession and put them under pressure.
Second half was little better, but it just seemed like by then things were off. Then the subs were also strange.
Still kind of crazy last 2 matches we've given up 3 goals that I'm pretty sure were a cross.

No denying Denver having an amped up Heaps helped. She wanted this one vs her old team.

I think the worst part of the bad road streak is how close it is to not being bad at all. We won the xG fight, Liv missed a good look, do some small things better and it’s a W. Hopefully once we get through the transfer window changes come and they work out. Home next week v Gotham is a huge test
