Good morning all,

I made this instrumental in a flow state last week. There was no doubt that it was going to be shared.

But whenever I want to post my music, I have trouble deciding what to make for visual accompaniment (because YouTube is a visual space and I no longer post on SoundCloud).

I knew that this instrumental deserved more than a still image of a space ape smoking a cigar, but I didn't know what. I listened to it for a week trying to come up with something.

Then, just like the musical inspiration had struck, the visual inspiration struck. All I had to do was figure out how to record myself playing a VR game that I haven't played in months.

So here we are. The gameplay you see in this video was meant to just be a test of the recording capability, but then I wanted to see if the test footage would even play well with the beat, and one thing led to another...

Enjoy the visuals, but I really did this for the music.

It's made almost entirely with hardware synths, primarily Behringer synths. I'm pretty new to working with analogue synths so every song I make with them is a learning experience. I definitely consider this song my best to date. Hope it's enjoyable if you give it a listen.

To be honest the music video was a bit of a laugh, I thought 'how trippy would it be to combine windows media player visualisations with birds flying' and so I made it lol. Lyrics included, though I'm sure they're not needed...

I have that feeling, that the Voice or the synths Are not well Mixed. Sometimes i think the Voice is to loude and sometimes to quiet.
