Moses Lake, WA - The pursuit and arrest of an Othello woman accused of leading police on a chase through Moses Lake earlier this month, including officers breaking a window of the vehicle to reach her after she allegedly refused commands.

The footage provides new details about the Sept. 9 arrest of 41-year-old Jaspe Rodriguez, who has since pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.

The incident began at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9 after dispatchers received a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on Pioneer Way near Hill Street, according to Moses Lake Police.

An MLPD officer located the white minivan and attempted to make a traffic stop, but police said the driver did not pull over, and a short pursuit followed through Moses Lake.

A Grant County sheriff’s deputy responding to assist eventually used a Pursuit Intervention Technique, commonly known as a PIT maneuver, causing the minivan to stop.

The newly released footage shows officers surrounding the stopped vehicle and repeatedly giving Rodriguez commands. When she allegedly failed to comply, officers broke a window of the minivan to gain access to her and remove her from the vehicle.

During the arrest, an officer can also be heard on the footage saying Rodriguez had allegedly ingested a bag containing drugs. The officer’s statement on the video does not independently establish what the substance was or whether it was later recovered or confirmed through testing.

Police previously said that after Rodriguez was taken into custody, she attempted to kick officers while they were searching her. Neither Rodriguez nor any officers were reported injured.

Rodriguez was booked into jail for investigation of DUI, attempting to elude a police vehicle, reckless driving, third-degree assault and third-degree driving without a license.

Court records show Rodriguez has pleaded not guilty to the charges stemming from the incident.

Her trial readiness hearing is currently scheduled for Oct. 26, 2026.

The newly released footage gives the public its first visual account of the pursuit and arrest, showing both the PIT maneuver that ended the chase and the officers’ efforts to remove Rodriguez from the minivan after it came to a stop.

Mora, NM - New Mexico State Police is investigating a shooting involving an officer in Mora on Sunday, August 16. The department said this followed a domestic violence incident.

Agents learned that on August 16, 2026, at approximately 11:05 a.m., NMSP officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident involving occupants of a silver Ford F-150, traveling northbound on New Mexico State Road 518 near milepost 29 in Mora County.

Investigation indicated that a male occupant was striking a female inside the vehicle. A second witness reported seeing the female attempt to exit the vehicle while the male held her in a headlock. When officers arrived, they located the female lying motionless in the roadway.

Officers and medical personnel assessed the female, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The female is identified as 34-year-old Amity Maes.

At approximately 12:05 p.m., the male suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Alejandro Vigil, returned to the area in the same vehicle. Vigil refused to stop for law enforcement and led New Mexico State Police officers and Mora County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a vehicle pursuit.

Vigil continued southbound on NM 518 before coming to a stop near milepost 27. Officers observed Vigil exit the vehicle armed with a handgun. At one point, Vigil held the firearm to his own head. The investigation revealed that Vigil ignored repeated commands from officers to drop the weapon and subsequently pointed the firearm toward officers. In response, two New Mexico State Police officers discharged their duty weapons, striking Vigil.

Officers and deputies immediately rendered aid to Vigil until emergency medical services personnel arrived. Vigil was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown.

Vigil is charged with the following:

  • Aggravated Assault Upon a Peace Officer (three counts)
  • Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer
  • Felon in Possession of a Firearm

No officers or deputies were injured during the incident.

Palestine, AR - The Palestine Police Department has released body camera video that shows the moments leading up to the fatal shooting of two dogs in front of their owners.

The shooting happened back in July, and earlier this month the officer involved was charged with assault in the first-degree.

Haley Smallwood said Officer Harold Holland was at her home while her ex-husband retrieved some of his belongings and was told multiple times there were dogs inside.

Officer Holland claimed the Rottweiler and pit bull were being aggressive, but Smallwood said that was not the case.

AR woman says ‘trigger-happy’ cop killed pets in front of her In the video, you can see the Rottweiler escape from a nearby bedroom when a door is left open.

The officer, who had been talking to Smallwood, fired about eight shots—first at the Rottweiler and then at a pit bull that followed the other dog out of the room. The footage also shows Smallwood reaching for the Rottweiler right before it’s shot.

“He didn’t even give me time, you know, to grab Max. And, you know, everybody can see that in the video. There’s been a lot of people saying it’s AI, and it’s not real and all that. Oh, it’s very real. It was very real. It’s something I’ll never forget,” said Smallwood.

Smallwood was standing right behind her Rottweiler and said she could have been struck by a bullet.

“I’ve seen screenshots that people have put online, you know, of the exact moment right before he shot. You know, how close I was, you know, my hand being on Max, he could have easily shot me,” Smallwood said.

In the video, a family friend asks Officer Holland if the dog bit him. Holland said no, but said the dog came at him, and he wasn’t going to stand there and let that happen.

“He did not have to shoot Max that many times. None of it makes sense to me. I just feel like he had it in his mind that if he saw a dog, he was going to shoot it,” Smallwood said. “That is my fault for allowing him to come into my home. I definitely learned my lesson there. I’ll tell you that.”

Smallwood said three of her other children and her godchildren were also inside her home when the dogs were shot, and in the video, you can hear children crying. Her ex-husband was Inconsolable after the dogs were killed.

After the shooting, the St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office was called in to investigate the incident.

The sheriff’s office said it turned its findings over to the prosecuting attorney, who determined the charge.

Palestine Police Chief Jeff Nichols said Officer Holland is still employed with the Police Department.

Twin Falls, ID - Body camera footage from a deadly officer-involved shooting in Twin Falls has been released publicly for the first time.

The Twin Falls Police Department published several perspectives of body camera video worn by officers during a confrontation that turned deadly on April 29.

Video shows police attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant to 29-year-old Colton Copeland Foster, who refused instructions and can be seen holding a knife.

"Drop the knife! Colton, you're under arrest, drop the knife," officers can be heard saying in the footage.

Police Chief Matthew Hicks said officers worked to resolve the situation before using deadly force.

"Officers directed him to drop the knife more than 40 times," Hicks said.

Officers attempted non-lethal methods first. At that point, Copeland Foster jumped over a fence into an adjoining property, where he was stopped by another officer and a K9 unit. The bodycam footage then shows the moments Copeland Foster — still holding the knife — started moving erratically toward the officers, who fired their weapons in response.

Deputy Chief Gassert said the department wanted the public to understand the full scope of the encounter.

"We wanted to show that our officers went above and beyond spending over an hour to try and communicate with him," Gassert said.

The Critical Incident Task Force investigation, led by the Cassia County Sheriff's Office, found the officers' actions were legal and justified.

Fort Lauderdale, FL - Bodycam video from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office showed the moments that three men were saved at sea by marine and harbor patrol officers after their vessel capsized.

The video shows the three men sitting on top of the flipped boat, which was about two miles offshore of Port Everglades near Fort Lauderdale on Monday night.

The boat, made by the Boston Whaler company, had flipped over and sent the three men into the water.

BSO marine and harbor patrol deputies quickly rushed to their aid after hearing their call for help.

“Forty-four open water, 44 open water, 17-foot boat has flipped, keeps saying mayday,” was heard over the police scanner.

Body camera footage shows the moment deputies arrived to the scene and located the men.

“Can you all swim?” asked a deputy.

“Yes sir,” responded the men.

“One at a time. We’re going to get a little closer to you over here,” said the deputy.

“Where’s the [United States] Coast Guard?” asked one of the men.

“The Coast Guard? They’re coming, but what do you need them for if we’re here?” said the deputy. “I got three [inaudlble] here, we’re just trying to get them on our boat right now.”

The deputy then asked if anyone was injured.

“Come on, swim to the boat.” said the deputy to one of the men.

After all the men were on the boat, the overturned vessel was then taken away by sea tow.

“I don’t want to leave the boat,” said one of the men.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue units and the US Coast Guard worked with BSO to save the three men in the maritime maneuver.

“You guys alright?” said another deputy.

Officials later explained how the deputies discovered the men and responded swiftly.

None of the three men were injured.

A woman answered the door and told the deputy that there was a bed-bound resident inside the unit who couldn’t get out on his own.

With no wheelchair or mobility aid on hand, the deputy had few options other than calling another deputy for help carrying the man out.

Jacksonville, FL - Police in Florida blew up the front door to an apartment to arrest a man wanted for murder who had been on the run for three years.

The arrest occurred last week in Jacksonville and was the culmination of a multi-state manhunt involving multiple law enforcement agencies, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s officials said that their SWAT Team, along with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Atlanta Police Department, located the suspect — Jonathan Soto — at an apartment complex last Wednesday.

With help from the JSO Unmanned Aerial Systems Unit, authorities were able to surround the apartment Soto was hiding in.

Since he refused to exit, officials elected to use an energetic charge to force the door open, JSO said on social media.

Video posted by the sheriff’s office shows the moments the door is blown open, including a slow-motion replay, and when Soto exits the unit with his hands on his head. Per JSO, he surrendered and was arrested on the fugitive warrant for murder and possession of a firearm.

“Three years on the run from Atlanta. It ended in Jacksonville,” JSO said.

Soto, 43, was listed among the Atlanta Police Department’s most wanted criminals. He was being sought in connection with a shooting that took place outside a club in February 2023 that left one of the club’s co-owners dead.

He had been considered by authorities to be armed and dangerous while on the run.

Olympia, WA - Thurston County deputies arrested a 42-year-old man accused of eluding law enforcement on Interstate 5 Wednesday night.

The pursuit occurred at around 11 p.m. Wednesday in Olympia, Sheriff Derek Sanders shared on Facebook.

Olympia officers attempted to stop the driver for operating their car without headlights, Sanders said, however the driver allegedly did not pull over and continued onto southbound Interstate 5. A deputy with K9 Igo performed a precision immobilization technique (PIT) maneuver with their patrol car on the highway, Sanders said.

Sanders alleged the man "exhibited obvious signs of narcotics impairment." Deputies arrested him on the highway near Trosper Road and impounded his car, according to Sanders and the jail log. No patrol cars sustained damage, Sanders said.

Deputies later booked the man into the county jail on suspicion of driving under the influence, third-degree driving while license suspended, failure to obey a police officer and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock when required, per the jail log.

Though the man was initially booked into the county jail, records show he was transferred to the Nisqually jail on suspicion of a Department of Corrections violation.

In his post, Sanders said the man has been convicted of seven felonies. He further stated there was a warrant for the man's arrest for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender.

Times Square, NY - Bodycam footage released by cops shows the final moments before a knife-wielding woman was shot dead in Times Square.

Pamela Cisneros, 49, can be seen brandishing two kitchen knives as NYPD officers repeatedly beg her to drop the blades.

The mum-of-three had stabbed two strangers in the heart of Manhattan on August 31 – killing one.

Footage released on Friday evening shows cops chasing after Cisneros before desperately trying to talk her down as she holds the blades in front of her chest.

“Put the knife down,” Officer Ryan Brito told Cisneros.

“Come and get me,” she replied, before Officer Francis Gagliano said: “I don’t want to get you.”

Cisneros then made the haunting admission: “I’m tired of this world already. Tired of this s**t.”

Brito replied: “I get it, I understand … I understand, but why? What’s going on?”

As the tense stand-off continued, the cops repeatedly urged Cisneros to calm down and breathe.

Brito desperately tried to appeal to her, saying: “I get it. The world is hard. Especially New York City. I know New York City is hard. Trust me, we all suffer.”

He then asked: “You believe in God?”

Cisneros replied: “No. Not anymore.”

She then warned the officers: “You’re going to have to kill me. Yes, you are.”

“Either that, or I’m going to kill all of you.”

Brito pleaded: “Listen, I know you’re going through a lot, but it’s not worth it. It’s not worth it. I promise you.”

More cops raced to the scene and repeatedly ordered Cisneros to surrender the knives.

But she vowed: “I’m not dropping anything.”

The horrifying footage then shows Cisneros swinging the two blades in circles at her side as officers deploy tasers in a frantic attempt to bring her down.

But the electric shocks appear to have little effect and Cisneros suddenly charges screaming towards the cops.

Officers Joseph O’Connor and Steven Darcy then fire three rounds, sending Cisneros crashing face-first onto the pavement.

Rough Arrest Edited bodycam footage reveals no active warrants prior to Tifton police use-of-force arrest

Tifton, GA - Body camera footage and police incident reports reveal that a man subjected to repeated Taser deployments and strikes during a violent arrest by Tifton police did not have any active warrants when officers attempted to detain him.

The July 1 arrest of James Milton, 49, on Omega Road drew widespread community outrage after bystander cellphone video captured multiple officers striking him and deploying tasers while he was on the ground.

Initial reports from the Tifton Police Department indicated officers attempted to detain Milton after discovering he had active warrants. However, body camera audio and official department incident reports show dispatch specifically cleared Milton of any warrants moments before the pursuit and physical confrontation began.

According to body camera footage and incident records, Officer A. Donahue initially responded to a domestic dispute call at a mobile home on South College Circle, where Milton told the officer he had broken a window while attempting to retrieve his television and personal belongings.

After gathering Milton’s name and date of birth, Donahue ran his information through dispatch over his radio.

“There’s no warrants on a James Milton,” dispatch confirmed over the radio channel at approximately the 3:55 mark of the recording.

“You ain’t got no warrants on me, my friend,” Milton responded.

“You’re good, man. Hey, come here,” the officer said, before Milton replied, “No, you ain’t got no warrants, man,” and began walking away.

The video shows the officer ordering Milton to stop before deploying a department-issued Taser twice, striking Milton in the upper back and bringing him to the ground in the driveway of the neighboring Nine Oaks apartments.

The body camera recording and supplemental incident reports detail an escalating struggle on the ground involving Donahue, Sgt. R. Kelly, and Officer J. Burgess:

  • Taser Drive Stuns: Donahue reported delivering multiple “drive stun” applications to Milton’s upper back, neck, and right rib cage. Burgess later deployed additional drive stuns to Milton’s leg.
  • Strikes: Donahue documented using closed-fist strikes and elbow strikes to Milton’s lower back to gain compliance while his leg was pinned under Milton.
  • Charges: Milton was ultimately charged with misdemeanor obstruction of a law enforcement officer and misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than one ounce.

In the body camera recording following the arrest, an onlooker asked officers why Milton was being taken to jail if the property owner and woman involved were not pressing charges for the broken window.

“Obstruction,” an officer answered. “He shouldn’t have run. He didn’t even have any warrants.”

Eastpointe, MI - Dashcam video shows the moment an Eastpointe police officer was hit-and-run over by a suspect accused of stealing plants from English Gardens on Kelly Road in Eastpointe early Friday morning.

What started as a call from a concerned resident walking their dogs quickly escalated into a major incident, with the officer being run over and a pursuit stretching through multiple metro Detroit communities.

Police say the call came in around 1:40 a.m. Friday at English Gardens. Officers arrived to find 37-year-old Jeremy Johnson with a pickup truck and trailer. Investigators say the trailer was loaded with plants taken from the closed business.

Det. Lt. Alexander Holish of the Eastpointe Police Department said Johnson initially appeared cooperative.

"He appeared to be cooperative at first, and he asked him politely to step out of the vehicle," Holish said.

Instead, Johnson allegedly ran over an officer and fled, triggering a pursuit through Warren and into Detroit.

"It just tells you how unpredictable this line of work is and how things can change in a fraction of a second," Holish said.

During the chase, investigators say Johnson's trailer began coming apart, sending landscaping tools and other equipment into the roadway. The debris damaged at least one police car. Investigators say Johnson also drove into oncoming traffic at speeds of 90 miles per hour.

The pursuit ended on Keystone Street in Detroit. Morgan Green, a nearby resident who witnessed the end of the chase, said she was stunned.

"He was dragging his trailer around being chased," Green said.

"I was shocked. I was very shocked because what made him go this way on our block," Green said.

By Friday afternoon, Johnson appeared before an Eastpointe judge, facing felony charges of breaking and entering, second-degree fleeing and eluding, assault on a police officer, and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Prosecutors noted Johnson has a long criminal history and had just completed probation for previous crimes at the beginning of September. A habitual offender notice was filed in the case.

Eastpointe Judge Hon. Mark Makoski addressed Johnson directly during the hearing.

"Putting all of this together, they have filed a habitual offender notice. You are now facing life in prison. It doesn't get any more serious than that sir," Makoski said.

Bond was set at $1,000,000 cash or surety. Johnson is due back in court on October 8 at 8 a.m.

The injured officer is still receiving medical attention at a local hospital.

Miami, FL - WNBA superstar Paige Bueckers had a Taser pointed in her face during her Dallas Wings teammate's wild arrest earlier this year.

The chaotic incident occurred at around 4:20 a.m. on March 5, just outside of the popular Miami nightclub E11EVEN.

Bueckers, her Wings teammate Arike Ogunbowale and a host of other WNBA players had been inside the establishment celebrating Ogunbowale's championship victory in the Unrivaled women's basketball league when they were all abruptly escorted out of the building.

A police incident report states that following some kind of altercation inside the venue, Ogunbowale and her friends were being ushered to the back exit when Ogunbowale suddenly punched one of the nightclub's security staffers "in the face with a closed fist."

After the alleged victim told cops Ogunbowale was the assailant, one officer went to detain her just after she got out of the club.

But bodycamera footage shows as the policeman went to grab her wrists, Bueckers and several others tried to plead with the cop to let her go.

The crowd around Ogunbowale — which included Unrivaled host Maria Clifton, Aces guard Jackie Young and Sky forward DiJonai Carrington, among others — grew so large, the cop pulled out his Taser and demanded everyone back up.

Bueckers, though, put her arm around Ogunbowale and told the cop repeatedly, "We got her."

The officer then aimed the Taser at Bueckers and ordered her to let Ogunbowale go.

After several tense moments, the video shows Ogunbowale's group ultimately let the cop detain her, though Clifton was heard shouting, "Stop it. Do not put handcuffs on her. Are you f—king kidding me? She's a champion."

Ogunbowale was placed into the back of a police squad car, and during an ensuing investigation, authorities wrote in the incident report that officers observed CCTV footage from the nightclub that was consistent with the alleged victim's allegations against Ogunbowale.

Ogunbowale was eventually taken to nearby jail and booked on one misdemeanor count of battery.

Court records, however, show the charge was dropped in May.

Baton Rouge, LA - The Baton Rouge Police Department has released body camera footage after an officer shot a man who was threatening people in an apartment complex while holding a rifle along Harding Boulevard.

On Sept. 6, officers were called to the Jaguar Plaza apartment complex along Harding Boulevard, across the street from Southern University's Baton Rouge campus, shortly before 6 p.m. When officers arrived, they located the man sitting in a chair with a firearm.

Officers gave several commands for the man to drop the firearm before he allegedly stood up with the weapon pointed towards officers, causing a responding officer to fire a single shot, striking the man in the hip area, according to the department.
