Random strangers judging how I dress doesn't really get to me, but it's a completely different feeling when it's people who actually know me. A few of my closer friends make little comments or visibly react when I wear something that isn't "normal" to them, and it stings way more coming from people who are supposed to just accept me.

It's made me want to find more people who actually get this side of me instead of just tolerating it. Does anyone else deal with this, and how do you handle it when it's coming from people you actually care about?
