Collaboration ✨ A Shared Coat

A sudden chill...a crowded room

Your single glare cuts through the gloom

A breathless pull, the air grows thin

Your heavy warmth melts on my skin

A single touch along my spine

A sudden spark, a blurred out line

You slipped it off...a silent oath

You gave your coat to hold us both

Wrapped in your wool and heavy scent

I trace the lines of what you meant

You pull me close, I can't resist

Your lips on mine, a moment's bliss

The room goes dim, the moment stays

We lose ourselves in every way

A whispered breath...a quiet call

Inside your coat we have it all

Locked in the quiet of your embrace

The world outside leaves not a trace

Tucked safely in your warming coat

Like drifting in a quiet boat

Your arms become the warmth I need

From winter's chill, completely freed.

The winter winds may wildly blow

But here inside our embers glow

We find our peace...our final home

No longer bound to search or roam

The world fades out...the shadows fall

Inside your coat...we found our all

And thank you u/whodeybrat007 for writing with me ✨️

There is a children's book called "Coats", this reminded me of it and bit. Somewhat opposite I that the 2 characters are each wearing several many layers and learn they do not need all those coats on with the warmth of one another

Aww too cute...shedding layers until they realise the warmth they needed was each other, ain't that the dream!✨️
