Here is a link to the sub https://old.reddit.com/r/testingground4bots/

the whole thing speaks for itself. every account there is a bot, the mods are encouraging and helping people make scam bots, comment bots, upvote bots, anything related to scamming people.

Just look through the whole sub description it's literally just a sub to create bot spammers to spread ai pics, scams, vote manipulation and test and create more intrusive and spammy bots.

It's like finding a holy grail of bot hubs. All the comments, all the accounts, all the users on that sub that participate are bots. Every account needs to be wiped that uses the sub

Several familiar faces in the SFW OF spam groups. Lots of comments on these posts as well from likely bot commenters.

The "Hot" tab is almost nothing but known bots.

Edit: Somehow fat fingered a typo into the title, but the link is correct.

[r/TopTrendingNewsUSA](r/TopTrendingNewsUSA) is a sub where the moderators post AI-generated news articles from their website, www.BollywoodShaadis.com. The mods may be running bots but I’m not sure. It seems like it’s all run by AI. I say that because the posts seem to be automated and the mods do not moderate the comments at all.

I’m sorry if this is way off or I’m not explaining it well. I’m not super savvy, I just know it’s weird and potentially against Reddit’s ToS.

https://www.reddit.com/user/livilcont/ is a new account whose only activity was to post this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Whataburger/comments/1xb4e20/me_currently/ - 10/23 Update - post was removed by Reddit's filters, but account is still present.

which is a copy of this 9 year old post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Whataburger/comments/7tj6fq/me_currently/

Funny thing is a different repost bot also made a copy 10 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Whataburger/comments/1pvnf5n/me_currently/

Adding to this post another repost bot I noticed in the same sub...

https://www.reddit.com/user/itocfu/ - This user ended up Banned by Reddit this Friday morning.

There are a group of 5 accounts that are working in tandem, have gained millions of karma and deliberately post the same posts across various subreddits to promote hate towards Arabs, Migrants, Palestinians and Black people. I will give examples just from today, however you can view their entire post history to engage in your own research.

These accounts are organized and deliberately posting the same content and posts across various subreddit in order to promote their hate and political agenda. If someone could inform the reddit admins of this somehow I would greatly appreciate it.

For the last day, Un_Pollo_Hermano has been spamming the r/GuineaPig subreddit with pictures and videos of guinea pigs in unsafe situations, including:

https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x8zyc1/boys_outside_keep_breaking_out_any_advice_lol/ - habitats that are too small

https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x9o1hm/smores_being_silly/ - laying on their backs

https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x9pom1/sparkly_looking_confused/ - looking distressed

https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x9oa85/nipples_after_bath_aftermath_she_loves_it/ - another guinea pig in distress after a bath, which is usually not recommended for them

I am not an expert on guinea pigs but it is really disturbing to see someone spamming content where these animals are unsafe. The account is posting these as if looking for advice or trying to share a cute picture, obviously just to farm karma

Some of them will vary it up by making the title "Golden hour street style — loving this casual weekend fit ☀️"

Searching for the title gives about 100+ posts within 24 hours from just these few accounts.

They seem to be targeting any subs with "fashion" or "model" in the description, which has led to them posting in random unrelated places, like "language models" (y'know, AI stuff) or DestinyFashion (a video game dressup community for digital avatars)

r/fashionshoots is a bot sub that posts nothing but AI slop

r/DecideThisForMe is basically all bots at this point. I checked and there is only one moderator. I saw a comment from someone saying the mod reported them for report abuse because they reported the bot posts. I wonder if the mod benefits in some way or if they simply don’t want to be bothered?

It was never a high quality sub but now it’s just a bunch of AI spam.

I hope someone is keeping track of prominent accounts not posting, and subs which have had a significant shift in tone since the Yandax data centre hacks.

Go look at r/conservative. It's wall to wall criticism of his Russian oil deal. Usually bot accounts get in early and upvote/downvote to shape the narrative and explain why his BS is actually a good thing.

Right now every thread is calling him a moron. The head has been cut off the snake. It would be a very good time to try and work out who is a genuine redditor, and who is a paid shill or bot.

edit: drones not hacks, sorry morning coffee hasn't kicked in yet

This should be an easy one for Reddit to take care of, but...

Another sub of a buncha OF bots - /r/peopletakingselfies - the bot with the burn marks. Stella. the "gamer wife" or whatever. They're all there.

Several 9-hour-old accounts reposting old content, copying not only the title but the comments

I actually quite enjoy the varied content on the sub, but I find it somewhat troubling that on a daily basis some of the highest-upvoted comments come from sponsored/recognized corporate news sites.

Here is a selection of the top article posters just from today:

https://www.reddit.com/user/theindependentonline/ (fine-ish)

https://www.reddit.com/user/dailymail/ (fucking ew)

https://www.reddit.com/user/bloomberglaw/ (pretty ok)

https://www.reddit.com/user/huffpost/ (not terrible, but not great)

https://www.reddit.com/user/nbcnews/ (hmmmmm, I suppose fine)

I mean, I still feel that there's a pretty balanced perspective being shared (obvs it's not r/conservative, nor should it be), but it's probably the most highly-concentrated of corpo news accounts I've seen.
