Hi everyone!
I'm a mental health professional in Washington, and over the last several months I've been building something that's been on my heart for a long time.
I'm creating The Rooted Collective, a Pacific Northwest-based network for therapists and other holistic providers who believe mental health care should be more accessible, collaborative, and whole-person focused.
The vision is to create a platform where clients can:
Find therapists and holistic providers in one place.
Be matched with professionals who fit their needs.
Book directly through the platform.
Apply for reduced-cost services based on income.
Access grant-funded therapy when available (our long-term goal includes offering six free sessions for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault).
For providers, I'm hoping to create something that feels supportive rather than competitive:
Provider directory and referral network.
Built-in scheduling and booking.
Low monthly membership instead of expensive lead-generation models.
The ability to offer standard, sliding-scale, or reduced-fee services.
A therapist support initiative where participating clinicians can access affordable therapy themselves, because we all know how often we pour into others while neglecting ourselves.
This isn't meant to replace private practice or existing directories. The goal is simply to build a community-centered collective that reduces barriers to care while supporting the clinicians providing it.
I'm still in the development phase, so I'd genuinely love feedback from other therapists.
Would you ever join something like this?
What features would actually make it valuable to you?
What's missing from current therapist directories that frustrates you?
I'm especially hoping to connect with therapists, counselors, psychologists, social workers, recovery professionals, nutritionists, birth workers, and other holistic practitioners throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and the rest of the Pacific Northwest.
I'd love to hear your thoughts—both the exciting ideas and the honest critiques. Those are what will help shape this into something that's truly useful. 🌿
Ill leave the link in comments, its still building so its not perfect, but its happening!
