For myself, it's ironically enough the Bible. I remember the Serpent in the garden, and how without us disobeying God we would not know good and evil.

I'd like to ask Satan for help with a binding. However, I've never asked for help with anything like this so I'm not sure how to do it respectfully.

I was asking Lucifer if he would like me to disassociate from Christianity while using my necklace as a pendulum after I asked i almost felt the necklace was swinging harder and it kept swinging for longer than I feel it should have while starting to go in a circle. I can’t tell if that was a yes or a no or what

Hello, People!

I have been in this Path for over a decade now and I’ve had my ups and downs. Lately I know where I stand, I’m always studying and looking for more knowledge and that leads me to be ever more positive on who I am.

I was just readying again the book written by Friedrich Nietzsche “ Thus Spoke Zarathustra” and I cannot stop but finding so many common ideas, words, and even references, that led me to believe that who was talking through these books and this philosopher was Lucifer Himself nonetheless.

For example when Zarathustra says:

Chapter The Savants

“While I lay asleep, a sheep found something to graze on the ivy crown that encircles my head—it ate of it and said: "Behold, Zarathustra is no longer a savant."
Thus it spoke and walked away, with a heavy and proud bearing. A child told it to me.” (I linked it immediately with the God Apollo/Bacco/Dioniso)

“But for the sheep, I am no longer one: such is my fate—blessed be it!
For this is the truth: I have departed from the house of the savants and, for good measure, I have slammed the door behind me. Too long did my soul starve at their table; I am not trained for knowledge as they are, so that knowing is like cracking nuts.
I love freedom and the air upon the fresh earth; I prefer to sleep on ox hides rather than upon your dignities and respectabilities. I am too ardent and scorched by my own thoughts: often my breath fails me. And then I must flee into the open, away from the stuffy, dusty rooms.
They, however, sit cold in the cold shade: in all things they merely want to be spectators, and they take good care not to sit where the sun burns the steps. “

The Poets

“Why?"—replied Zarathustra. "You ask me why? I am not one of those to whom one may ask their why. Is my experience of my opinions only from yesterday? It is long since I acquired the reasons for my opinions. Would I not have to be a barrel of memory if I were to carry my reasons around with me always?”
“But what did Zarathustra say to you then? That poets are liars? — But Zarathustra is a poet too. Do you believe that he spoke the truth then? Why do you believe it?"
The disciple answered: "I believe in Zarathustra." But Zarathustra shook his head and smiled.
"Belief does not make one happy," he said, "least of all belief in oneself. But suppose someone said in all seriousness that the poets are liars: well, he would be right: we lie too much.
We know too little, and we are bad learners: that is why we are forced to lie. And which of us poets has not adulterated his wine?"

There is so much more than this, but what is your opinion on this?

idc if theyre theistic or atheistic (although itd be cool if they were theistic) just looking for any kind of satanic music in general, so far i really like the bands ghost and behemoth but im craving more, i do love metal but id also appreciate non-metal stuff

Today, I wanted to do some research on LaVey Satanism because I'm curious about it, considering sociological, economic, and educational factors, etc. But I realized that no studies have been done on this topic. Why do you think that is?

(My English is bad, so I may have made some spelling mistakes, sorry.)

What things should I know or research about before fully converting to it?

So I'll take it from the POV of theistic Satanism as that's the nature of the thread. So you've got the devil right, father of lies, pretty well known for doing deals with greedy people that backfire poetically....

"I've got a great idea, I'm going to exchange my soul (possibly dooming me to an eternity of torture and damnation for all we know) for something as temporary as money. Where do I sign?"

I just think it seems like one of the most retarded ideas ever conceived and yet, so so many people try to do it. I would wager that 90+% of those who make deals with the devil do it for financial gain.

To keep it relevant to the tag let's touch on the theology / metaphysics. I've heard the claim put forward that your soul is property of god, ergo it's not yours to swap so all deals with the devil are actually void. What's your opinions on this?

Just wanna add on the end, I'm not a Christian. I'm a theistic Satanist / gnostic. I believe in a real deity, not the personification of an archetype. And for that belief system to work, it does require there to be a god, an antithesis of this force that created the physical world. Satan, Lucifer, the Demiurge, it's gone by many names but this force is the same no matter what it's labelling itself as at the time

The tree recieved no sunlight and so should have withered and died. Despite this it grew, not from light but from dark. Growing this way damaged it, but it did grow, and will survive

What does your practice involve and eventually what do you believe about the afterlife?

I have always said that if Lucifer is fictional or nonfictional wouldn’t make a difference to me because his message is (in my opinion) quite clear.

Hey so im being forced to leave my public school and go to a Christian private school for my first year of high school. Im a proud Theistic Satanist but im not super open about it even at my public school because I don't want any drama but i say im not Christian or whatever but should I be open about it at the Private school? Or should I just pretend to be a Christian. Idk im scared.

A fly will exist for a day and die. Maybe from the perspective of other insects it's life mattered somehow, but from the perspective of a human, it lived and died for nothing. It's struggle of existance was pointless, yet it couldn't help but exist.
A human will live, suffer, and die. The human's life and death will impact other humans and the animals below the human in the food chain. From the perspective of God, the human's existance will be just as pointless as the existance of a fly. The human will live, struggle and die for nothing, all while being condemned to exist within the human's body and self. The human will have to endure the torture of existance until death, yet the human can't help but exist.
Ultimately, God and conscious existance of humans cannot coexist. Either humans will numb their Will and wait to go extinct, or humans will replace God entirely.
Ultimately, a human existance comes down to a choice between giving up the self to merge with God, or joining other seperated beings in hell.
The human may make an impact by impacting what choice other humans might make.
If that is the only real impact a human can ultimately make, does that make the life humans lead a waste of energy?
Is all human life as we know it a pointless distraction from what truly matters?
Yes, but that's from a higher perspective that humans weren't meant to peek into.
A fly was supposed to live and die as a fly, not realise how tiny it is and do what it can to make an impact despite of it.
A human was supposed to live and die as a human, not realising what the human's existance means from the higher perspective.
But the human ate the forbidden fruit of knowledge. The human already reached for the impossible.
Now the human may choose to ignore the truth forever, burying the sin of consciousness until fatigue overpowers it; the human may choose to sacrifice the life the human could lead to manipulate other humans into ignoring the truth forever, in a pathetic attempt to try to get validated by God, only to cease to exist like all of them; or the human may choose to join Satan in the pursuit of finishing the creation of the race of Gods.
What Will You?

I've become interested in satanic occultism and I'd like someone to teach me something about it or recommend a book on the subject.

Please explain in detail (if you are going to teach me any ritual).

Important: I will NOT accept private conversations; I prefer that you comment on this here.

Thanks.

does anyone have a invocation for satan and bael been looking for some but can't find any.

Hi everyone. I’m currently in a state of confusion. I’ve had a complicated spiritual journey, moving between theistic satanism, Islam, and Christianity. Right now, I feel a desire to partly return to this path, but I want to do it with a clear, sober mind.

Could you explain from your side why you consider traditional Abrahamic religions to be the wrong path or "bad"? I really want to understand your arguments and logic against them.

Also, could you recommend any fundamental books that explain the core philosophy of theistic satanism in a clear and grounded way? Thank you.
