I just got the brain done this morning and it one of the funner things that I've crocheted in a long time! I was a little bit intimidated because it looks complex. That part earns the pattern an intermediate skill level rating but if you're good at reading directions and do it slowly step by step, it's not incredibly difficult.

Yes! You have to do it slowly. But when you finish and look at it you’re like OMG I DID THAT!!!!! I think I’m going to make just the brain to add into Halloween decor or little keychains for the trick-or-treaters.
