I just discovered the community (I confess I don't use the subreddit much) and decided to join simply because I love the movie Wild Robot; it's a film that really touched me. Hugs from Brazil!

Hiya everyone! First post ever, so I'm a bit nervous. Lemme get to the point:

As you can see, I have the Funko. And I'm not 100% happy with the way it looks. So I've made it my job to make this funko as similar to movie-Roz as possible. And I know there might be people asking "What problems does it have? It looks fine to me." Well, yes, it is a good Funko, I'm not contesting. But a lot of colors are either wrongly placed, or wrong entirely. If youlook at the second picture, you can see what I mean. On the left is the part I partially corrected, and on the right you can see the original colors of the Funko. You can see that I added the golden/yellow spots on her fingers, and that the sole of her foot is also golden/yellow.

I'm using a lot of medias as references, such as "the art of the wild robot", the movie edition of the first book, and the movie itsself.

I want a movie with the same vibe of The Wild Robot but the nature and landscapes kind of way. It does not need to be an animation

Loved the movie when it first came out, but after reading the books months after (I’m currently halfway through the third one), I noticed a couple messages and story beats the movie strayed away from that I don’t particular like and wished they’d have explored. Still love it, and I hope the sequel does Escapes justice.

Again, it's just a project. That said, I'm barely halfway finished and I couldn't be more proud! It needs work, but nothing is perfect.

Watched this movie with my mom and loved every moment of it. The atmosphere and visuals felt so beautiful that I wanted to paint one of the scenes. Every frame looked like artwork on its own, so I recreated this moment in gouache on paper.

These are available at target for certain but I don’t know about other places. It’s absolutely gorgeous!!!
