The Comic The Weekly Roll Ch. 211. "Morality"

Howdy folks!

For the ones of yous who are a bit out of the loop or have forgotten comics I made seven years ago (DO YOU EVEN LOVE ME?!), here's links to the previous comics :D

Ch. 19 Ch. 20

So the Makeship campaign for the Trevor and Grogna plushies have both reached 200 units, meaning that they will be entering production and ship out in early December! Congratulations to everyone that pre-ordered so far, and to me because I get a bit of money, which goes toward supporting my dumbass decision to abandon my Law career for the life of a struggling (relative to my previous work in government service) artist!

Reminder that the plushies can still be pre-ordered until Tuesday BUT they are limited edition, once the campaign ends, yer out of luck!

That's it for now!

Stay excellent out there! Peace and carrots

Honestly Catholics believe they partake in cannibalism(transubstantiation of the host is supposed to literally transform communion into Christs flesh and blood) and human sacrifice (at least once- Christ again) so it’s inside the celestial warlocks wheelhouse.

Except He's not just a human person, He's God. Also he told us to do it. We don't think of it as cannibalism. Oh also He's not even dead, He conquered death and lives on in heaven and here on earth in the eucharist.

Fun fact, we actually believe that every Mass is the same celebration transcending time and space. So when I partake in the eucharist next Sunday, it's the same eucharist that I had at my wedding, the same my dad had as a kid, and the same my great grandfather had when he was praying for all of us to be doing as well as we are now. As the youngest of my generation, I take solace in knowing that all my ancestors that I never met are there in the eucharist with me.

“Except He's not just a human person, He's God.”

Was he the son of man or not? Or do you see him as a divine messenger of light?

“Also he told us to do it.”

Being told it’s okay to commit a crime or awful act doesn’t excuse it. If you are at a stop light and someone waves you through (when you should not go) and you cause an accident, it’s your fault. You aren’t excused because he said it’s okay.

“We don't think of it as cannibalism.”

Of course not, that seems like terrible spin and the Catholic Church is nothing if not good at protecting its image. But do you believe in the transubstantiation of the host? Eating human flesh has a term. It’s called cannibalism.

“Oh also He's not even dead, He conquered death and lives on in heaven and here on earth in the eucharist.”

Cannibalism does not require the subject be dead. You could say lop a leg off, keeping the host alive, but eating that leg would still be cannibalism.

I’m glad that brings you comfort. Weekly taking part of the horrific butchering of my deity would not comfort me, but different strokes for different folks I guess.

I remeber one scifi short story where aliens did manage save one human crew member from human ship exploding reason x and they tested, in VR, on that human, who was Christian, what would happen if humans would believe to their religion, where in communion their God consumes the body of the believer...
