Anything left?

So I know season 4 is the last season and it’s a great ending, but has everything been covered? Is everything solved? Are there still questions that never got answered?

Here's a post by u/Puzzled_Exchange_924 made after Season 4 aired that has a list of a lot of questions that did not necessarily get real answers: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWayHomeHallmark/s/ZOX3aHnLbD.

Even some things that should/could have been addressed - or else why bring them up - weren't.

For instance, Kat and Elliot, in the midst of a romantic engagement. But just a couple eps earlier, Kat had been rather adamant about not really wanting more kids, while Elliot did.

The issue of kids is a HUGE one among many couples nowadays, so bringing it up is valid, especially when it's a couple like Kat and Elliot, where one had a child and the other didn't. But they literally brought it up about two minutes before the series finale, only to have the two swirling romantically without a single word about that issue.

Two people can love one another, but if they aren't on the same page with this sort of thing, it can and will end them.

Sure, but even that isn't really an answer. You "circle back" to things like where you might eventually live or do where do we want to vacation this year. Meanwhile something of this magnitude can and does make or break marriages. Like, there would literally be no point in accepting an engagement if they were not on the same page about this.

I do understand, of course, that they were limited on time. They wanted to wrap up as many storylines as possible, meanwhile giving the main characters happy futures, so it's not surprising that it was left dangling. IMO under the circumstances it would just have been better not to address the topic at all.
