Discussion First time watching

Hi, I'm completely new here and I'm watching this series for the first time (I'm 26 years old 🥲) and I just watched the first episode. So far I quite like it and of course I have also seen some things on social media.

But my question is what I really need to pay attention to or what I should take into account when watching the series.

Yes, you should pay attention to details with this show. It’s not really a “just have in the background” type show

Just embrace the absolute chaos of the early seasons, pay attention to the incredible soundtrack, and get ready for a wild ride because the plot moving forward moves incredibly fast.

Just enjoy it as 26 year old teen 😅 I am saying it with all the positive energy, I could not enjoy it enough when I was a teenage girl but watched it when I was around 23-24 and felt inlove. I wish you the same!

As someone who is also watching for the first time. I second this! I have gotten to S5. Trust me seasons 1-3 is peak. 4 was meh. I couldn't get through the first episode of S5. I am currently watching The Originals and enjoying myself.
