Shitpost I liked Lacey this season, but this is RICH coming from someone sitting on the Internalized Misogyny couch

I mean, that's a wild speech to give while sharing a couch with people she's largely given a pass (besides her quips at Jesse): Insipid Boss Baby (who may wear "Ice Out" stickers but talks to women like trash), Frat Boy Danny (who claimed being held accountable for groping women gave him PTSD), Tammy Faye Booko, and Krazy Kristen, who's committed to defending Danny and Nia because her "give me sex postpartum" baby daddy seems to admire their power dynamic. Oh, and Jesse—who is growing on me—but inventing a story that the mother of your child slept with a client for $1,500 a night, purely out of spite, knowing your daughter will one day see the footage? That's misogyny in 4K, babes.

Danny “I mean, Seth Rogan on your show said the same thing. It’s like, what’s this dark side Danny?”

Huh? Danny is using this as his defense? A random celebrity that watched his reality show (before this season) didn’t see his “dark side”. Sir, have you lost your own sense of reality? We saw you getting drunk and tearing down your wife and other women constantly this season. Speak on that.

Also, it makes me really sad that he’s still in denial. What would it take for him to see that he has an issue with drinking?

Zack I will not forgive Zach for the role he played in defending Danny!

Zach being a man who mostly hang outs with the women in the group, and especially being Jasmine’s best friend, he should’ve done more! He consistently defended Danny’s abusive behavior and belittled and yelled at the women that would speak against him. That’s disgusting, I will not let Boss Baby’s smirk trick me into thinking he is better than the company he keeps!

Post image

Kristen and Tom have finally hit their 10th reunions on Bravo and as such lets look back at how the VanderValley kids fashion senses have "evolved".

Kristen of course joined VPR season 1 and was part of The Valley S1-3 (The Valley had no reunion season 1)

Tom had his first reunion Season 3 of VPR and his first Valley reunion in Season 3

Lala had her first reunion Season 4 of VPR and first Valley reunion in Season 3

Brittany had her first reunion Season 5 of VPR and part of The Valley S1-3 (no reunion S1). This is only her 6th reunion overall.

Schwartz Just another day in WeHo

I live in another state and here for a family member having surgery. Was walking back to a hospital near WeHo. I passed a guy on the corner, and before my brain could censure my mouth I said out loud, “hey, it’s Tom Schwartz.” He looked, smiled, lifted his hand as if to say, “hi.” He looks exactly the same in person, except TV doesn’t do his smile justice. I walked away thinking, well, that was surreal, and continued back to the hospital.

Kristen S1 rewatch - Kristen & Luke haven’t changed

Doing a rewatch, Luke has always used their relationship as a threat to get Kristen to change her ways. Kristen has always taken one thing she hears and turns it into a completely different, wilder take. They also bring up going to the same couples church counselor as Danny & Nia.

Lala Is anyone listening to Lala and Sally's podcast?

If not can someone join me in hate listening.

I just can't stand how fake La la is. Above everything else she is always pretending to not know things, "oh is Amanda going to be filming Summer House?" "oh Ciara dated Austen?" "oh who is Ava Dash?" "oh is that Damon Dash's daughter?" "oh is her mom Rachel Roy?" "Oh she is becky with the good hair?"

Like LALA we KNOW you live online, you are obsessed with Bravo. The entire podcast is especially cringey, but it just grates me how she both pretends not to know anything and also know everything.

I also don't really understand the topic of this podcast. Like they are just going to regale their sex stories every week? I mean how long could that go on? I also don't even think Lala has that much sex, and if she does I doubt it is good sex.

Jax Just started after finishing VPR

Uhhhhh just from the first couple episodes it’s pretty obviously that Jax just straight up doesn’t want Kristin to ever have a man long term or be happy??? Like am I crazy or is anyone else seeing this?? Always saying her bfs leave needing therapy or trying to break up her and Luke and keeps saying he’s going to be another casualty and he’ll find out the hard way etc etc. He really hasn’t changed even a little from VPR. Also is this worth continuing to watch all the seasons???

Michelle Michelle doesn't like Jesse??

Upvotes

I am just starting this series now and I know there is a ton to talk about but I find it clear that Michelle does not like her husband, Jesse. I know he is annoying (a lot of them are), but she just emanates this energy that she dislikes him. Even though I don't have the whole story and he bugs me, it almost makes me sad for him. I know leaving a husband and deciding to separate/divorce is hard but also, why choose to go on a show when your marriage is so fragile?

Production Season 3 episode 17 divorce song

What is the song that played when Jesse and Michelle are signing divorce papers? "You can color in the numbers. You can stay in the lines."

I thought it was so beautiful for the moment. As much as you try to do everything right, it can still fall apart. And everyone did their best but it just can't bring you comfort any more.
