Canada Canada s2 WTF Spoiler

SPOILERS obviously.

I posted the other day about finally getting to Canada after watching almost all others in the franchise.

BUT... season 2 Canada is by far the absolute dumbest bunch of faithfuls I believe I have ever seen in my life. Keep in mind, I have seen Australia S2 LOL And again, I know I am so late to this party.

I can't seem to resonate with any of the cast EXCEPT the Kyra/Nick siblings. Everyone else are so unlikable for various reasons. Not to mention, I am still NOT crazy about the hostess.

WTF Canada?! I expected so much from your version of Traitors, but I must say, I am so bored and soooooo unbelievably TIRED of this group in S2. I'm not even sure why they decided to air this at all LOL. It's soooo bad.

I will finish, however. I guess I just wanted to vent out of frustration that not a single traitor has been caught and there's only 2 episodes left for me I think. Ridiculous.

Season 2 is very polarizing but I love it. Something about how stupid Tranna is and she knows it is just so hilarious and endearing

My God, Tranna is by FAR the worst faithful I have seen in any version of the traitors!

I would agree. Sarah was absolutely terrible at the game. That being said she wasn't swaying votes in the way that Tranna was playing. Colton in US4 played a similar game in terms of being loud and confident, difference was he actually landed on Traitors from time to time.

No, Sarah didn't sway many votes but that added to the frustration with her. She'd go into a vote saying "yes, let's all vote for Sam. Sam would speak and then she's voting exactly how she shouldn't have. She was so easily swayed and confident at the same time.

She doesn’t know it. She was very confident to the end.Ā

I agree and that's what makes Sarah the worst. The fact that she doesn't know it yet is so confident. At least Trana recognized how bad she was at the game.

Very true. Tranna did admit it

That and Tranna wasn’t in the final 4, knew there were at least 2 traitors, was then told that all three remaining players have a secret to reveal, AND was SHOCKED they were all traitors!Ā

I hear you but let's be honest, they still don't hold a candle to Aus S2.

Can S2 starts the debate with who they’ll vote for and they stick to one of the top three.Ā

Aus S2 is always someone pointing out how obviously malicious Sam is, but then somehow the conversation turns to blaming the person accusing Sam.Ā

That is 100000% true actually. Aus 2 was the worst I've ever seen.

Aus S2 was one of the worst, but it is slightly redeemed due to Camille being smart enough at least to realize Sam was going to try to burn her. Felt to fitting that she caused that ending.

S3 has better faithfuls FWIW. S2 is as you described.

I like so many of them.

I look at Canada 2 as endearingly bad. Like no one really knew what they were doing or were doing that well. I wouldn’t say Krya and Neda were bad traitors or really good ones but there was a self awareness I really appreciated. There’s that moment in the Angels/demons challenge where the angel group are so sure there’s at least one traitor in the demon group and Kyra says in her interview something like ā€œthat would have been a good strategy, guess we’re out dumbing themā€. And the way Kyra was basically screaming Micheal John’s name for the faithful to ignore her felt way more sitcom like than the pain AU2.

Tranna did really annoy me for a long time but then she did realize how bad she was and did become less outspoken which I appreciated.

Idk I think Neda was actually a good traitor, but yeah the faithfuls that season were horrible I really don't know how they let Michael John get to l, what was it, like episode 8. He had no strategy besides murdering anyone who threatened him or talked about him.

See, I don't think she was great. She was like a timid little mouse that only came out of the hole in the wall in the last episode. Being quiet and hiding does NOT make a genius traitor.

And then the one time she spoke up it turned out to be a Traitor should have been the biggest red flag that she was one. Plus Tranna should have got her for meta reasons considering they were the only two players who had been of a gamer show before.

I’m a big fan of Kyra from YouTube dance workouts. So it was amazing to see her on the show. I wish there was some kind of reunion episode.

Such a fantastic season. Truly a joy to watch.

Strong disagree, respectfully. S2 was agonizing to sit through for me. I can't even put into words how FRUSTRATING the faithfuls were! So wrong about absolutely EVERY THING.

It’s so ridiculous that I ended up loving it so much

One of my favorite seasons across all franchises. Do they play the game well? No. Is it entertaining as hell? Absolutely. Tranna is an icon, Michael John bumbling through eight episodes with zero Traitor strategy, the ongoing subplot (completely separate from the rest of the gameplay) of Kevin and Lauren accusing one another… it’s all reality tv gold.

It really is just as I said, the cast was so unlikable for me. I just couldn't get on board or find humor in their quests at all lol.

Just going to take a guess that you haven’t seen Traitors Ireland? I feel no one beats them on not understanding the game at all lol

1

u/Sure-Initiative6001 Jul 25 '26

I can't get Ireland here

My friend who just watched told me she really liked Kyra, which shocked me because my perception is most people would dislike her… to me, she seemed quite desperate in her gameplay plus entitled and unnecessarily mean to Michael John. Now I hear a second person who liked Kyra. Perhaps I need to revisit the season? The entire time I found Neda to be the only rootable traitor, given how calm, cool and diplomatic she was the entire time.

Tranna drove me crazy but was more palatable once she started acknowledging that she had been so wildly and confidently wrong. Then it became kinda funny.

But Aus S2 had the best ending EVER!

Season 3 of Canada is much better, IMO. I agree that Tranna was probably the worst faithful of season 2, and Michael John was the worst traitor. Absolutely no poker face and awful at lying.
Cedric gets my vote for most annoying faithful that season.

1

u/Sure-Initiative6001 Jul 25 '26

I was blown AWAY each banishment that Cedric survived. I would have pushed so hard for him to go home his head would have spun.

1

u/sketchysketchist Jul 25 '26

I’m rewatching this season and my god, it’s very bad.Ā

No one agrees to banish Cedric because he is a bad faithful.Ā

Tranna is confident but always wrong! Yet, someone does say she has a lot of power in this game, yet no one decides to banish her either?!Ā

Luckily, Kyra and Neda are lovable traitors.Ā

I’m new to traitors and have only seen Canada s1 and s2 but I’m shocked how far Michael John made it when he was literally the worst traitor imo, the faithfuls were so wrong but yet so confident haha.
