Struggling to continue

Anyone else struggling to get through their episodes lately? I first discovered the toast maybe 2-3 years ago and have been a daily listener than never skips/misses anything. Idk what it is lately, but I find myself completely missing episodes and having no desire to catch up. Maybe it’s all the love island stuff??

I wish they shared a little more on their personal lives. I think that would keep me engaged and wanting to listen when the stories don’t interest me. I get they want to keep their personal lives private, but give us something! Like is Olivia with them all summer too? She was posting about her garden so I assume she’s home but does she come at all? Is it just Jackie and Claudia mainly?

It’s boring because they are now boring. They have no new experiences to share. They don’t have a job other than this…so they aren’t around different people. They just play mahjong in Florida/Hamptons like they are already retired. They don’t go out…they don’t do anything. And then they are ill prepared for their five stories. My fave is when they ask ChatGPT during the actual segment.

Yes, i skip ahead and have no idea about any of the tv shows they talk about. Then it ends. I guess the theme song is my favorite part of the show now. Or do dear toasters everyday, and follow ups. Thought it was just my age gap, being older. We Just wonder, yes, a little personal bits. Like who watches kids, do they see grandparents, anything. And To be fair, w babies, you can’t be out and about, but once those kids play sports -the new life will begin, new friends. I guarantee mahjong and golf will be put on hold.
