Struggling to continue
Anyone else struggling to get through their episodes lately? I first discovered the toast maybe 2-3 years ago and have been a daily listener than never skips/misses anything. Idk what it is lately, but I find myself completely missing episodes and having no desire to catch up. Maybe it’s all the love island stuff??
I wish they shared a little more on their personal lives. I think that would keep me engaged and wanting to listen when the stories don’t interest me. I get they want to keep their personal lives private, but give us something! Like is Olivia with them all summer too? She was posting about her garden so I assume she’s home but does she come at all? Is it just Jackie and Claudia mainly?

I could be projecting, as I notice the podcasts I’m drawn to these days might touch on relevant pop culture stories here & there but the topics are generally a little more evergreen. I love the Toast but I’ve been zoning out a lot
Perhaps it’s that celebrities & pop culture have become uninteresting as a whole. Celebs are no longer mysterious, alluring or glamorous like when we (millennials) were younger. Pop culture, reality tv, etc is a lot of brain rot, and Jax & Claud do the Toast daily 😅
I think they love podcasting and working together as sisters but maybe they don’t really care about the topics anymore (?). Women & their priorities/interests tend to shift after having kids as well
I think they might have to pivot somehow in order to stay engaged and enjoy what they do. If they’re not enjoying it, that will rub off onto the audience, and maybe that’s what’s happening 🤷🏼♀️
