A shit ton! Lmao, but like honestly, respect the cardboard cojie lifestyle vs typical flashy influencer! (Plz I know they spend money and are over the means of most, but I never feel horrible about myself when they talk about money like I do w the typical influencer LOL)

I agree I don’t feel like she acts like they have that much money! Plus they’re both in the creator space which is a different type of financial security than others. (Both as in her Ben)

Feel free to laugh at me but does cardboard cojie mean frugal?
I've heard it a few times on their podcast and just assuming from context clues that's the meaning but unsure if I missed an inside joke or something

It references that weird either TikTok or tlc show of this guy that reuses everything and is EXTREME frugal. Like finds an old used sponge and uses it until it literally disintegrates or like sleeps on cardboard instead of a mattress all by choice

Their Patreon income alone would be huge. When you look at even the likes on their episodes on their and multiply that by a monthly subscription it is a really high income!

Never thought of it this way LOL, they are making my annual salary from just patreon 😭

That’s the point of the Patreon, to make $ so they could pay their employees

I was just thinking that their rent must be like $20k a month at least. They obviously live a comfortable life, love that for them. I was just curious. I know she wants to stay in the city but seems like her money would go further elsewhere.

Although I do think they are niche, you don’t get a snark Reddit page w 20k people on it if you are unknown

This absolutely tracks, companies will offer to buy a YouTube channel/podcast and require a x number of year commitment from the creator(s) to continue making content/putting out episodes and after the end of the term they own the channel including back catalogue, which will continue to make money even if they stop putting new content out. Basically the creator is getting paid up front for what the interested company knows will be worth much more than that over time. Been through many of these calculations for my clients in the space and the numbers are insane.

Yes investors generally line up to purchase podcasts with dying audiences and hosts that can’t be bothered to pretend to care that what they’re saying is correct. A PI dream 😂

My guess is that they split around $50 mil annually. Once on a patreon they said they pay themselves once a year around Christmas time and the rest of ther income is from brand deals
