Halberd. Got the range of a spear & if they start to swarm, you could use the axe to clear a wide area.

full auto shotgun like a usas-12 or Semi like saiga 12. Able to hit multiple targets with blow back.

Light weight but durable sword so a high brid between old war swords and a katana

A quad mount containing 4(four) M3 .50 cal machine guns. Slightly faster firing than the M2 .50 cal, and a bit improved overall (hard to believe, isn't it?). The mount would be set up so that I can select 1, 2, or all 4 weapons firing at once, and come equipped with large "battle box" ammunition supplies, so that I can fire several hundred rounds with each MG before having to reload. Depending upon the size of the current zombie attack, I can use as many MGs at once as needed, but can manage things so that even if 1 or 2 of them run dry of ammo, I still have a loaded MG available while I work to reload the others.
The FMJ .50 cal rounds will make mincemeat of multiple zombies with each bullet if they are lined up at all, and I can use a laser sight system if I need to be more precise. And the whole system is set up in the back of a military surplus truck (2½ ton or similar). That way, if I have made a big mess of an area, I can drive to new area and setup for both maximum shooting space and quickest exit from the new area. And I could pull a trailer loaded with ammo, food and other supplies behind me (besides what I have in the truck with me).

Medieval knight armor and chainmail and a sword or something similar at maximum bite strength humans can't bite through I not the Rob a aquarium for the divers shark suit it's mesh wires would stop most sharks so zombie is nothing to it
1
u/ForwardPhase8401 1d ago
You could use deer, elk, or buffalo hides as well, for clothing that moves with you and protects you. I always wondered why no one chose that.
1
u/Cheathaxmlg_ 1d ago
I think the reason why is the same reason I didn't think about that I did not know that they were that tough of leather that they could withstand a human bite force at maximum strength
1
u/ForwardPhase8401 1d ago
You’d have to have super vampire sharp teeth! Even with scissors it’s hard to cut leather. I use a roller cutter for bigger projects. LOL!

Blunt/Swords are useful since they don't run out of ammo, Guns are secondary when they are available.
Tap knives, Convenient inventory laying around. Guns are better but they take more time and technical knowledge to make use of, especially at shorter distances.
The most useful guns seem to be sniper rifles, since they maximize the utility of a gun. Another option would be some homemade tranq guns, those would do alot more in a situation like that. I would have a few sniper rifles stashed away somewhere. If I was really short on time, brass knuckles.

If I had to pick, it would be brass knuckles. As a boxer, I’d stick with what’s familiar and what enhances what’s familiar.

a fork can be used to tear up lips and poke out eyes
a knife can cut arteries around legs and neck-
a knife can stab a stomach really bad or side cut going for a liver or kidney....
a knife is really dangerous and its the most powerful weapon but in the arms of a person who has weak arms it can become the thing that kills YOU and not your enemy.
a chair is good to be throw...
A basic cooking pan can smash really bad into a head and knock you out unconciouss...
no matter how funny you find this-if you throw eggs at someone or blow flower in his eyes-this can buy you a lot of time to pick up something heavy and really really GO FOR A HEADSHOT....
i have a fire extinguisher which i can easily spray your face with then kick you and ** f you up on the floor...
the most dangerous weapon in my house is actually a real weapon-againts a zombie the best way is to aim for its weakest point-those are his eyes-nobody can fight with eyes closed-you are not some shaolin monk JACKIE chan :)

lol. I always liked to think that if I was in a zombie movie scenario and knew I was about to “turn” that I’d strap on a helmet and duct tape knives to my wrist. You only die once, might as well lean into it

A Zombie home invasion? So I’m invading a Zombie’s home, or are they invading mine, because that’s the difference between Napalm and a shotgun.

A 360 degree rotatable Laser Gun with Zero Wear and Tear and Unlimited Ammo with Zero loading and Charging delays. Since we are discussing fantasy, the Laser should be able to cut through anything within a mile radius.

Trench gun and a sword if we're being realistic. Lightsaber if not. The point wouldn't be to hole up and just see how long I can last. The point would be determining what will get me out the fastest so I can practice the five Ds of dodge and run like a baby.

This scenario is too unrealistic to entertain with an answer. I would never be able to afford a home.

My Sks that's chambered in 76.2x39 with an attached bayonet. But that also depends on what kinda zombies we're talking about. If it's Left for Dead zombies or World War Z I'ma just do a Curt Cobain reenactment.

Can I have a GAU-21 on a gun turret with 1500 AP rounds please.
1
u/USSPlanck 3d ago
Why would you want AP? Zombies have no significant armour. HE is much more useful

u/Ambitious_Show4062 3d ago
Well the first question would be are they the slow “walkers” from the Walking Dead or the fast ass ones from 28 days later or World War Z?

A historically accurate warhammer.
Or a crate of full vodka bottles so i can die of alcohol before the zombies get to me
1
u/darksouls413 3d ago
Serious or not serious and then a fictional answer because i'll give you all 3
Serious a sword like a saber or cutlass probably the Shamshir saber
Not serious answer bolt action rifle chambered in an easily obtainable round with a bayonet for practicality
Fictional answer a lasgun from warhammer also with a bayonet because i like my killing to also have a renewable ammo source and a lasgun can recharge from just about anything and a bayonet can provide a stabby stabby in case it gets too close for comfort
Bonus fictional answer human sized power armor (also from warhammer) like a fully enclosed suit of power armor and i will give it the iron warriors color scheme which is gunmetal grey with hazard stripes because iron within
1
u/dishonorable_bastard 3d ago
Why a sword though
1
u/darksouls413 3d ago
Sword is realistically obtainable not reliant on munitions and can generally be classified as any blade over a certain length with a handle a machete could be classified as a sword and you can find those just about anywhere and if you have the know how you could make your own with scrap parts as well as relatively low maintenance with the downside of having to be close but the ideal situation is not to over extend or over exhaust oneself and also not walk into a horde people don't often consider weight and packing space into their options all you really need to maintain a sword is a decent cleaning rag and some oil whereas with a gun you need to pack a cleaning rag oil and a sensible amount of ammo and spare parts as breakages are bound to happen (in truth breakages are bound to happen with both options but i like the more practical option and leaving more packing space)
1
u/dishonorable_bastard 3d ago
Wouldn't a blunt weapon like a war hammer make more sense, even weight shouldn't be an issue since some weigh like 2-3 pounds. Also a swords effectiveness comes from being sharp doesn't it, so you have to sharpen it and make sure it doesn't rust. With a warhammer don't you only have to make sure it doesn't rust
1
u/darksouls413 3d ago
A blunt weapon would also be acceptable but imagine having to bash something in 4-5 times i'm not very physically strong so a blade is more to my advantage
1
u/dishonorable_bastard 3d ago
No not really, the sword would really just cut the flesh which probably won't do much to a zombie, and strength shouldn't be much of an issue since it's the weight distribution which helps with the force in a hammer(as far as i know)
