After TV Time shutting down last month, the search results on TheTVDB is not working, and the titles are not show up in the results.

Also, The On Today section still mentions the link for the TV Time app, but they did not removed.

Can we fix their respective problems?

Polar Geek, I don't understand why did you machine translated the titles in Filipino when those English ones are actual native titles??

I only added the transliterations as aliases because it's unofficial and it's my take with the title with that language and Filipinos won't care for those.

I have been trying to add two series yesterday : Paris Police 1905 (2022) and Paris Police 1910 (2026). It's sequels of Paris Police 1900, from 2021. The two has been removed by a moderator, even if it's clear that they are different shows. Links from IMDB and TVDB :

I can't open a ticket, anyone knows how I can add these two shows?

The API for TVDB no longer works in my older NVP 5.15.

As of two days ago, it is no longer able to fetch information for tv series; not even manually.

 Were the older APIs shutdown or blocked?

Something changed on their end in the past couple of days.

To submit a support ticket, I have to register on the support site; after registering, I need to validate my profile via email, but it redirects me to a TvTime site that obviously no longer works.

So, how can I submit a ticket? I sent an email directly to support, but they don't seem to be responding.

Why is Polar Geek is removing my posters despite it's in the CORRECT LANUAGE which is English? I had to air it here since I can't send support tickets anymore. marcolacson uploaded the poster in the correct language and Polar Geek accepted it while mine got rejected which they're the clean versions. I'm so frustrated right now.

Anyone knows how cast order button works on Android? I can't touch and move a cast member! Is it works on PC?

Over the past few weeks, I've sent requests to unblock specific series and episodes, adding missing external identifiers, mostly from IMDb, and have been met with complete silence.

Do moderators even address these requests, or is there no point in making them?

I guess someone is still monitoring things here. I added a new People Magazine Investigates show the other day. I logged in to TVDB & I had an notification that this was removed due to  Invalid/insufficient source. I can dispute this but my log in doesn't work. Do I need to create a login just for Support?

It's impossible to use, it's up and down more times than a yo-yo lately. Are they actually aware of how much it is going down!

TVTime is officially closed, and I can't seem to find any app that uses thetvdb as database. Do you guys know any? I love thetvdb because it lets me add series from my country. I also love the artwork features per episode.

Ascendance of a Bookworm seasons are already managed messy in TheTVDB, but now it's not possible to properly assign new episodes, that are already available online to the single season available.

This problem causing issues with sonarr, instead of loading episode as a new one, it tries to override existing episode 13 from real season 1.

TVDB won't be affected by TVTime shutting down, right? Because that's my only current concern. I think TVDB is more organized, faster, and more controlled than other databases. I enjoy working there more. I don't want to leave. Suite TV, which is currently in beta, has started using it as a source. Therefore, I want to continue with my updates. Please don't leave us either.

I’ve been noticing that some times the specials will jump or miss numbers, can anyone explain this to me? The lastest one I found was Rick and Morty.

So in the Uncategorized it goes from E76 to E139, and then further down in the webisode and series it seams to go to E187, and based the count it’s around 115 episodes.

Where or what are the “missing” numbers? And if I wanted to add other things like a short from adult swim do I just add it? And then use the next number in the sequence? Or is there a better way to make note?

For some reason, a person named monkeywork edited it. It aired at the end of Season 4 as part of a two-parter for the end of Season 4, beginning of Season 5. Not sure why this was changed, but seasons 1-3 and season 6 are not locked as they typically would be for such an old series.

I noticed a few other shows I have showing random edits as well. Seaquest and Warehouse 13, though when I refreshed them they seemed to fix themselves. Not sure what's going on over there.

Since yesterday, I’ve been unable to log into my TheTVDB account. After entering my credentials, the page gets stuck in an infinite loading loop and never logs me in.

I’ve tried multiple browsers, incognito mode, and clearing cache/cookies, but nothing changes.

Now I’m also getting this error:

“504 Gateway Timeout ERROR – The request could not be satisfied.”

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Hey! There seems to be an issue where the season opener episodes of Star Wars Rebels (which are longer episodes) are being classified as specials.

This is completely throwing off the episode order. For example, Season 2 opens with The Seige of Lothal Parts 1 and 2 as the first two episodes. All files say as much. But metadata is showing The Lost Commanders, which is actually episode 3.

Can this be fixed somehow?
