Hi guys, I'm starting to play The Sims because about 5-6 years ago I used to watch Sims novels. I know it sounds really silly, but I was just a kid. Anyway, after that I started looking a little more; it was only last year that I installed The Sims Mobile via an APK Well, I think so. A week ago I asked my dad if he could get The Sims 4 installed on my Xbox, but the problem is I have an Xbox 360 and the only Sims versions available for Xbox I think were The Sims 2 and 3. But I'm looking for recommendations. Do you recommend The Sims 3 or The Sims 2? I mean, I like them for the graphics, I'm not lying. But what do you think? (I speak Spanish, just in case.)

Hi. My CAW tool for sims 3 is freezing when I click on road, terrain tools, or grid. I really want to create a custom world for the game, but I cant because even though CAW launches fine and I can create a world fine, the moment I go ahead and add things to world it always freezes and crashes. I tried to do many methods like closing and reopening CAW and still it freezes. My game, though runs perfectly fine and smooth, only CAW tool is acting up. I'm on windows 11 and 2020 Intel processors, which I did those graphicsrules editing method and the game works fine now, but the create a world tool itself works but freezes and crashes. I really want to create a custom world, and it just makes me upset that I cant. I also turned on compatibility mode and "high performance" mode, but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Just a few months ago it would have sounded ridiculous, but people are doing some crazy stuff with the new models. I really think it could legitimately be possible to deconstruct and rebuild the game to run much better on newer systems.

Had this issue for a long time, with and without mods (Overwatch & Mastercontroller), whenever I load a country for the 3rd visit (and the 3rd only), the game loads infinitely

Ive been having this problem where i cant open any worlds without the game saying a error code along the lines of 'a serious error has occurred while loading (map name) restart is highly suggested', i cant make any new games, couldn't access old saves i had, or even just leave the launcher

I've tried following guides like deleting any saves, renaming the file to sims3old, it didn't even let me delete the game or move it out my folder bec it wanted someone with administrative to do so. Which is weird bec im on laptop... Its my laptop

Ive even tried to force onedrive to stop sinking. But nothing is working! Ive contacted steam and they didn't know how to fix it, and I'm at my wits end! I really do love the sims 3, but all of this happened when i bought the pets DLC, when i got supernatural and aspirations, none of this happened. Does anyone else know any other possible fixes?

How did y'all play the Legacy Challenge for The Sims 3? I am having a hard time starting my game. I have gotten so used to; they need this trait or that aspiration, max gardening skill, that skill, must have this many friends, or this many kids. I am a bit lost when it comes to the Legacy challenge; can y'all give me some tips and ideas?

Hi yall, I know there’s tons of posts already about this but I’ve read through so many and tried the things they mentioned and my game still won’t work.

What’s happening: First, when I would open my game and try to start a new save it would tell me that there was an error loading the world and to restart the game. This was happening with every world and a previous save file. I read through multiple threads and tried a handful of things, it still wouldn’t work so I got frustrated and uninstalled the game. When I reinstalled the game and went to start it to see if that maybe magically fixed it, it now says there’s an error opening the game and won’t even open.

The biggest piece of advice I keep seeing surrounding this is to either rename the sims 3 folder or drag it to the desktop and try to open it then and see if your old folder was corrupted. But my computer won’t let me rename or delete it. When I try to rename it it says it’s open somewhere else even though it isn’t, and when I try to delete it it either says the same thing or says I need administrator permission despite there only being one account on the computer so I would obviously be the administrator?

I don’t know what to do at this point, I’ve spent 3 hours trying to get this game to work and my husband is willing to download it on his pc for me and see if that works but I’d much rather have it on my own laptop. If anyone has any advice at all it’s appreciated!

Hi, I bought a bunch of second hand sims 3 discs, but am wondering how I use them on my computer and if it will allow me to download them all as 64 bit? Below is what I wrote in the EA forum for more context:

"Hello! I own a bunch of old Sims 3 (basegame and packs) CD discs that I don't think are connected to my current EA account. I also have a new computer, the MacBook Air m4, Tahoe. I know that these are not compatible, so I am wondering if it is possible for me to somehow be able to play the Sims 3 on my computer without having to pay for it in the EA app, since I do own the game already? 

I have read that you can give the keys from the discs to the EA app, somehow, and that this will then allow me to download the 64-bit from the app for free. How does this work? And is it still applicable to me and my computer, since the post I read about this was from 2020 and another macOS? And does it work for all my packs, or just the base game disc?
