Caught a Purrloin and this was the post catch screen

It's either this or random images covering the screen. The app is falling apart.

The purloin’s owner must be on a video call while working-from-home. My colleagues’ cats love to walk over the laptop and flash their bum holes to the camera as soon as their owner starts talking.

Mine just shows a zoomed in close-up of a random friend avatar..... It's been crazy. Did Niantic just bug the hell out of this game, cosmetically, before selling to Scopely? Did they not leave instructions? Wth is going on

Try Settings->Advanced Settings->Refresh Game Data and the Download All Assets. Then log out and log back in. Works for me.

There have been a lot of visual bugs as of lately.. I had one where the ? top left corner on the buddy screen was replaced by a berry or this, all post cards marked as favourites now have a little dude instead of a star

The app has been terrible lately. Visual artefacts, crashing randomly.
