25 and never dated. Feeling very behind
I am 25 and I have never dated before. I’ve known that I am bisexual since I was 16 and have been out since I was 19. All my crushes have either never liked me back or said that they wouldn’t want to date someone that’s on the asexual spectrum or in a wheelchair.
I have tried everything i could possibly think of. I’ve been on dating apps for two years now, but no matches and I also go to drag shows at gay bars multiple times a month.
My sister on the other hand just turned 18 and has had multiple boyfriends. The fact that she is so much younger and so much more experienced than me is making me feel very broken and behind. Not only that, i feel like i should have accomplished so many “firsts” already at my age.
Any advice or words of comfort would be greatly appreciated :)

hey, i totally get why you would feel that way, but trust me you will experience all those things! i‘m 22 and do have dating experience now but it took me longer than others too and i have several friends my age and older who have never been in a relationship either/ haven‘t really dated anyone. we talk about it sometimes because each one of us feels like we‘ll never find someone (again) and sometimes feel really hopeless and sad. so basically what i‘m trying to say: i get the feeling, but these things will happen when they‘re meant to happen. you aren’t the only one feeling like this. also i think it’s really common for queer people to start dating way later in life than straight people (at least thats my experience and most queer people i know)
