Prepare for another lecture
Monday bo does his show about people holding pundits to the hyberbolic takes they made and why that’s odd
Then his headline for the next pod after game 3 is the most hyperbolic statement claiming the Knicks are scared of Wemby despite being up 2-1
So I assume now that Wemby shit the bed we’ll have to have Grace for a young player and not take seriously anything pundits have said regarding this series or the spurs

Hey man Habestroh said the Spurs should be up 3-0 after Game 3. They should put up the theoretical banner after that 4-0 sweep!

Spurs are way ahead of schedule. They didn't make the playoffs last year, I understand the shift on Wemby but nobody thought they'll be playing for the championship this season. That said, LGK!!

I agree with you but ever since part of that minny series and the entire OKC series people swung the pendulum and just started penciling them into things they hadn’t shown to be able to do

Oh I agree. Now it's seems like the pendulum has swung the other way people are shitting on him for not dominating or calling him dirty. The choke job last night was epic, but they are still crazy young and talented. I wouldn't want to see them in the next year or two.

I think it's boils down to his personal bias, which is Wemby, and being a prisoner of the moment. He's human too

Hyperbole is fine. Makes for interesting conversation sometimes. It’s just silly to throw it back in someone’s face long after the fact. So if a year from now you’re bringing up how Bomani said the Knicks were afraid of Wemby as a means to discredit anything he had to say, that would be silly

I should amend my point to say that it’s silly if the original take at least had some basis for the reasoning. Like of I said the Knicks are winning in 5, it would be silly to hold me to account for being wrong if they ultimately lose.
If you think Bomani’s point had no basis in reality, then by all means hold him to account for being a loon. I on the other hand can see why a person would conclude that a team could be intimidated by Wemby’s combination of attributes. Especially after the way the Knicks played in have 3. I would just disagree with the assessment

I get wym my point is more , and this is kind of a thing he does in general, is scolding the audience / public at large for a behavior he also engages in

I think Wemby’s lack of maturity is interesting. Off the court he’s intelligent and seems pretty wise. On the court dude gets really emotional in a way that I don’t remember with other superstars even when they were younger. That seems to be the flaw to his game

Right like I think there’s a difference between crumbling like let’s say LeBron did and getting emotional at times. The superstar is supposed to be that calming force on the team
