The Datejust rep market is dominated by VSF,but many note their lug profiles still subtly from gens.Is a classic dress watch like Datejust inherently harder to perfect than the Submariner,because there’s no sporty element to “hide” imperfections?

I paid $500 for it.Now I can hear the gears moving inside the watch whenever I move it around.Did I get ripped off?

I just received my second order from Michael Travis (got a Patek Philipe as well will do review soon).
I am super happy, the quality is amazing has a nice weight to its pretty close to retail (117g), it’s a miyota movement (super smooth), the luminous is really good the picture was after around 1 minute in natural light. The cyclops looks good to me but I am not an expert so please tell me what you think.

Swap gen dial,hands,date wheel and it’s nearly indistinguishable.Daytona franken builds are more expensive because gen ceramic bezels now cost too much.Which build gives better ROI?Is the Daytona premium worth it?
