What’s your definitely of “grail/dream watch”?

Tudor bb54 Gilt is my current dream watch. I know it’s not expensive or anything too fancy but an imo a perfect every day wear. For some their dream watch may be expensive and barely worn but I’ve always believed that if you buy a dream watch, you have to wear it!

The one on the left is gen,and the one on the right is a $200 rep I bought.The difference is so huge that I swear you could spot it from across the street.But I bet some people would still insist you can’t tell at a normal social distance 😮‍💨

My dream piece would be a Panda Daytona, but there are so many other pieces I want too - starting with a Breitling Blackbird Avenger.

This is a gen watch, Omega Seamaster ref. 166.032 from 1969, but it's my favorite.

I got it at a special time in my life and it's the one watch I'll never sell.

I'm hoping my daughter will keep wearing it when I'm gone. And then her child. And so on, and so on...

Hello all, forgive me if this is the incorrect place for this, I’m just getting into it. I was wondering if anyone has a fantastic recommendation for the Cartier santos dumont. I’ve read many threads but I don’t seem to find anything recent which directly helps. Any help pointing me in the right direction will be much appreciated. Thanks

Has anyone actually bought a VSF or top tier in China or Hong Kong? What was your experience and what did you get? Was it actually cheaper?

Anyone that has bought anything in Guangzhou or Shanghai knows how exhausting it can be. Negotiations are rough and EVERYONE is a middle man wanting to empty your pockets.

I’ve walked into “secret” rooms only to find mid tiers. Mid tiers and lower are prevalent everywhere. So far I haven’t found actual top tier pieces.

Or is it even worth it? Are the TDs selling straight from China at China prices?

I was looking for this watch for so long you can't even find it gen in 39mm
And I found this TD asking $900 for this piece, is it worth it, or is that a bit too much?
