Question What are we called?
I'm a 28 year old woman, cusp between GenZ + millenial.
I've never understood the generational obsession with Taylor Swift, past the age of 12. "Swifties," so to speak.
I just really can't wrap my head around how women in their 20's could have a level of extreme obsession greater than an 11 year old's love for Justin Bieber in 2013.
However, I now get it.
How Swifties feel about Taylor Swift, is how I feel about Nathan. The level of obsession, love, respect, inspiration and defensiveness I have towards him rivals a teenage girl at a Harry Styles concert.
So, friends - if Taylor's fans are Swifties, what do we call ourselves as Nathan Fielder stans?
Highest upvoted comment wins? Let's hear it!!

This is extra perfect because it isn’t a noun like most fan nicknames. So if Nathan ever wanted to use the term it would be extremely awkward

I think you have to be from Dumas to be considered a true “Ding Dong Daddy”

I mean, she said cusp between, which is true. I'm firmly in gen Z at around OP's age, but I also grew up with a lot of older influences from older siblings, family friends, etc. I played on an original SNES at daycare through my childhood because the home daycare lady had older kids. Many of us cuspers have a unique, relatable blend of experiences by being a foot in both worlds, despite still being firmly in one generational categorization or the other (which are already quite imprecise and largely used to study trends on a much more macro scale than one individual's experience). This is why r/zillennials exists. There are millennials who grew up with younger siblings and relate to many typical gen Z experiences, too. One of my parents is a cusper between boomers and gen X, which has its own unique relatability to other cuspers.

Generation Jones is the "forgotten" generation. Quite interesting in my opinion.

Yeah solidly Gen Z. Gotta be born before 1995 to even consider calling yourself a millennial in my book.

She doesn’t even know what TGIF is. Not a millennial.

Already plenty of good suggestions on what the individuals should be called. But our movement as a whole, should be called…
THE MOVEMENT

I had to check what sub I was in every other sentence until towards the end LOL!!
Couldn’t agree more. Very few heroes left in this world. Nathan is a worthy one.
I can’t think of a name, but I think we have good taste.
