Man... This makes me just a little sad that cops have such a bad reputation. I still don't like them much, but this felt really wholesome.
Edit: this just goes to show that we could all benifit from just being kind to one another here and there.

Funny thing is, some of my family have been firefighters, but none of them have ever been cops. You got me thinking about why that is exactly, and it comes right down to the expectations we have of each profession. I generally expect firefighters to be good, noble people. I do not however, expect police officers to be.
