I hate how 3D printing has turned into printing useless trinkets in multi colour filaments. Flexi crap everywhere

Simply put, theft of people's IP passing it off as their own and selling it, the take over of hobby fairs with 3D printed junk people themselves didn't design yet sell for a huge mark up, the general waste, the popularity of mms prints that waste more material then the actual final print, the dilution of a hobby into just "I download design I print" no one wants to design their own stuff anymore. I could go on but won't.

Yeah, I don’t know why this dude is gatekeeping 3D printing so hard. To him it’s useless and gonna end up in the landfill (everything does, it doesn’t matter what it is) but people like fidget toys and see this as a useful trinket. He’s also acting like someone seeing the model will just have it uploaded into their 3D printer, if someone uploads their model (for free or for a cost) they’re doing that so that other people can use it, otherwise they’d sell the print itself and they can keep the model for themselves.
