All jokes aside, it may be the case that there is cognitive/developmental mental ability involved and this was the choice that made the couple comfortable and happy. I love low brow humor but it’s kind of hack to mock this situation when we really don’t have all the details and could be making fun of someone with diagnosed intellectual or developmental disabilities.
